I know many of you are criticizing how perspolis played today but you got to consider that being in a 2-3 situation from first leg makes it very difficult for any team in return game. How many times have we seen things turn around for the worse in these kind of games.

That said, i think perspolis has to rethink its player caliber in a few position by if it wants to get further than this round. Some players are not at ACL level.

No, Branko still sucks!! This Al Jazira team is one of the worst and weakest teams to have ever reached the KO stage of the ACL. PP should have humiliated this team 5-0 on aggregate, not 4-4 and go through on away goals and a last minute miracle by Seyed Jalal.

The same as how Branko also sucked before Borhani scored that late winner against Qatar in the legendary 1st round WCQ match (and we all saw the outcome at the WC itself).

Hashemian. Borhani scored the equalizer. What a game that was though, wow. That team was amazing offensively in spite of Branko's garbage tactics. If I remember correctly, his master Daei didn't play that match. He really is a shitty coach.

Branko hasn't changed at all, He keeps using same guys over and over and does his same subs over and over. And for some reason, He loves shitty players ; TM( Khatibi, jalal kameli mofrad, naji badavi, mohammad alavi) and perspolis (farshad ahmadzadeh, vahid amiri, beyravand). some of these players def dont deserve to be on TM roster, let alone for upcoming world cup. I would love to see someone else as our goalkeeper Not Beyravand.

From what I have read he is retiring at the end of this season and will pursue a coaching career. This is the last game they will play this season.

You're right, it was Hashemian who scored the winner. If I remember correctly, Azizi gave an amazing pass to Mahdavikia, then Kia passed to Hashemian who tapped it in.

Indeed, Daei did not play that game. Also initially Branko did not wabt to re-invite Azizi, but eventually , after heavy pressure, he was forced to do so and ironically it was due to Azizi's brilliant pass to Kia that we managed to score that winner. Had it been based on Branko's decisions alone, we probably would have been eliminated in the 1st round of qualifiers...
