It's shit like this that makes me worry about the world cup. When our club teams continuously get out matched by these PERSIAN gulf teams. Every big game, Beiranvand lets in 3-4 goals. Our defense isn't Europe based, they are all domestic and they keep getting abused by these PERSIAN gulf teams. It really makes me scared that they won't be able to withstand the world class offense we will see from our group.

Al Jazira will knock out Persepolis just watch! Unless Hosseini comes back to solidify that back line Persepolis won’t advance no matter the venue tbh these guys are just trash Beiravand again super unsure as usual but can’t complain too much. Besides Al Jazira has always been able to get results in Azadi wouldn’t see it change otherwise with Shitko Shitkovic in charge.

Perspolis is a completely different team when they play at Azadi compared to away. They got killed by Al Saad 3-0 away then came back and beat them in Azadi to win the group. I feel good about their chances at Azadi with 2 away goals at their disposal. If they don't win at Azadi against the 7th ranked UAE team then Branko needs to get canned ASAP!

I didn't watch the game, but losing 3-2 away is not a very bad result. A 1-0 or 2-1 win in Tehran is enough to progress.

I wonder why would anyone mention Branko as a choice for TM. Been there, done that. A failure on all fronts, particularly leadership and player management.

First learn how to play defensively, then try to hold onto a 1-0 lead. Otherwise, just sit back and let the players play. At least, they will have a chance then. What a masterful screw up.

PP will probably still win, but this team should have been the easiest team PP plays in ACL.

Beiranvand has had superb performances and saves that has got his current position within team Melli. One single performance isn't a good indicator for performance evaluation specially involving club level performance in such evaluation and extend it to team Melli. He has achieved many records internationally and nationally. And I guarantee you that he will be our Number 1 in the world Cup. Respect that guys. He's our main man.

Yes he could have a better save in one of the goals. However our defence was porous today and any goalie would concede these one on one goals. I am sure with the return of Seid Jalal and having tens of thousands vivid fans at Azadi we will secure our spot in 1/4 along with most likely Esteghlal.

Dear TM fans, please note that the mistakes that goalies commit due to lack of strength of backline will be immensely reduced as TM has high calibre defence and midfield and as a result of that the goalie can focus more on his own area and saves rather than acting as a defender.

It was quite obvious that in many occasions (specially on one exit that he almost got injured ) ; Beiranvand wasn't confident on the defence. On the 3rd goal that you and commentator wrongfully see him at fault; Mensha allowed the black fellow go behind him and score. Beiranvand saw this and tried to cover the error however it failed.

Anyways, as Bravo wasn't sacked after conceding two goals against Iran, and stayed the goalie of Chile and Barcelona and later Man City; our massive talented guy will be at his best in the world Cup and will make a name for himself. And no worries Persepolis will thrash Al Jazeera at Azadi. 3-2 in any champions league in oppennet's stadium is a good result.

Yes I understand it's painful to lose at 96 min but we usually do that to others and it happens. It'll be alright. No worries.
And hopefully we can finally put this low rated regional games behind us after the return match in Tehran and focus on the big task at hand. THE WORLD CUP.
