Hoping the two Tehran teams bounce back strong next week. ZobAhan especially with the risk of having no attendance in their next home game won't stand a chance against the two Qatari teams
1. SS has lost Shojaian and Ebrahimi while Thiam is also injured
2. Persepolis is banned from signing any new player, Branko might even not sign an extension contract, Moharami will leave for Dinamo Zagrab after the home match vs Al Jazeera, Kamal is injured again. And lets face it. Persepolis is not the same team for sometime now. Particularly after the second half season started.
3. Zob Ahan has no support and tools to defeat those Qatari teams plus Morteza Tabrizi will join SS pretty soon.
Out of all Qatari teams, Al Duhail is very strong. I think they are going for the title. I can not see SS or Persepolis stand a chance against them. If SS had no injured players, they had a slim chance but now I am sure it is really hard to pass that team. We have to focus on WC anyway, so I think we should not care that much about ACL this year. Japanese and Australian teams didn't take it seriously either. Even Korean teams and most of Saudi clubs are focused on WC.Last edited by PersianLegion; 05-09-2018, 10:16 AM.

Perspolis is already good but they need a new coach and new motivations for the next round.

He doesn't have the credentials to replace CQ.. He has only coached AlDuhail with a stacked team and Qatar.. No thanks

Bad news about Shojaeian..
I really wanted to see him at the World Cup.. Even if he came on for 2 minutes. It breaks my heart and only God knows how he’s feeling. I’m sure he wanted the chance to prove himself.
Horrible news for Iranian football.. I wish Dariush a fast recovery and for him to get back!

indeed very bad news, but not really for TM, more for SS where he was key player. I dont really think he had much a chance of getting any TM call ups, action before or during WC. Now SS will need the likes of Barzay, Mohsen Karimi (is he injured still?) to step up in his absence and take creative responsibility.
