Hey aziz, can you get the exact quote by the coach yesterday said about Jalal Hosseini - want to post on Twitter.

    Thanks.

Few things that doesn't take a genius to conclude from Persepolis's play today/lately

      - Farshad Ahmadzadeh is an azadegan level player playing for Persepolis

      - Branko is a very mediocre/poor manager who has no true tactics

      - Seyed Jalal Hosseini is the greatest thing to happen to Persepolis

      - Beiranvand does not deserve to go to the WC

      - Moharrami is a special player and it's hard to believe he didn't get called up (although I would keep Beitashour; I would replace Moharrami with Aghaei, Khanzadeh, or Ansari)

      - Bashar Resan and Mohsen Mosalman are being held captive on the bench in favor of garbage players like Vahid Amiri and Ahmadzadeh.

Bronko is not good enough for PP. next round we need a better goalie and a reshuffling of the back line. In Jalal we TRUST.

          These Emiratis were disgusting.

We should ban Arabs from our league and make Arab national teams play Team Melli in cold places like Tabriz.

We should also hold them in the airport for 12+hours and do all the things they do to us.

Im sick of the spineless way we treat these scum

Jalal name will remain as a legend in Iranian football, i am not saying this because of the goal he scored today, he has been the most consistent, the best central defender in our football since Mohammad Panjali's retirement, and that is about 30 years almost! None of Rahman Rezaei, Golmohammadi, Nader Mohammadkhani, Pashazadeh and name it as you like, come even close to this guy in level of consistency.
Really sad a player in such a caliber never even played in some half a$$ European league. Still at top of his game at 36, plus he is a real gentleman!

Why the thread got closed as soon as Hosseini scored?

Anyway congrats to all. But I am really worried about Perspolis defense and overall conditions. We don’t play good and struggle to score goals. Beiranvand is shaky and unreliable. I truly hope he won’t be our number one keeper in WC

No, Branko still sucks!! This Al Jazira team is one of the worst and weakest teams to have ever reached the KO stage of the ACL. PP should have humiliated this team 5-0 on aggregate, not 4-4 and go through on away goals and a last minute miracle by Seyed Jalal.

The same as how Branko also sucked before Borhani scored that late winner against Qatar in the legendary 1st round WCQ match (and we all saw the outcome at the WC itself).

                Esteghlal for life!!

"The captain you're talking about, is he a superman? If he is a superman, you have to become World Cup Champions."

It got closed a while after Hosseini scored. Anyway, I don't know who closed it but I re-opened it again.

Branko puts the "european" label on himself and now he's all of a sudden better than our domestic managers? Please LOL

Yeah, sure, our domestic managers are bad, but do you really want a guy who has been a proven failure in Iran for many years managing the supposed "best club" in the IPL/PGPL??

Thank god Esteghlal has Schafer, who may not be a savior in Iranian Football, but sure as hell has better tactics than Branko's alaki corrupt ass

I honestly do not understand some of Bronco's tactics. Why is Bashar on the bench? Every time I have seen him, he has been a joy to watch. He does have nice crosses and plays smart.

I can't believe Beyranvand actually tried to catch the ball on that last minute shot instead of boxing it away. He almost scored an own goal there, while the ball was going out in the first place.

Persepolis will face the winner of Al-Hilal and Al-Sadd. The good thing about the break of ACL for few months is this Al-Douhail team was really on fire. Persepolis needs some serious work, the team doesn't have what it take to be in top 4, let alone win the title. I think Esteghlal chance(without injuries) is much better than them if they beat Zob and i am saying this as Persepolisi!

Beiranvand and Amiri should not be on TM list

Isn't there a draw after this round concludes?
