as far as i am aware, you can only apply for the Fan ID after you have been confirmed as a ticket holder, not just after requesting a ticket.

im under the same assumption ..!!
has anyone gotten the FanID just by using the Fifa Ticket application receipt number..?

WTF is taking FIFA so damn long to let us know the faith of our application for tickets..?? i mean it shouldnt take all but a day or two to supposedly Random Draw from the applications they got by Jan 31..!!?

if it was a straight random draw it woulda be done in a day and winners announced...!!

after you did your ticket apply go to fan id and put the ticket order number and ask for your ticket id, even when it is not u gect tickets or not, you can do this at leasst...fan id at the end depends on ticket luck..

Are we guaranteed tickets since we applied for them? Ie if we don't get the tickets we want will they still give us other tickets?

How are you guys booking your hotel and air if you dont know the outcome of the draw? what happens if you don't "win" will your airline and hotel reservations be refunded?

just curious because i want to book too but don't know if i should start without having received a reply from FIFA yet?

ive booked my airline tickets and hotel and ive only applied for a ticket.
i will still be going regardless of tickets.
soak up that world cup irooni atmosphere around the city/stadium on matchday.

you have to wait 2 to 4 more weeks and if you got ticket, make your plan.

nothing against you, but when I told everyone to buy tst-3 or higher for Iran, everybody wanted to know city, venues, match days, opponents, now you know it, you face other problems.

but still enough time ,just more expensive at the end for everybody which makes the plan now.

use skyscanner.com skycheck.com kayak.com and Expedia, booking.com and start planing. also there is free train trainsfer, with your fan id. but you can try to reserve now your place in the train, just apply with ticket order number for fan id and with one or both of it fur transport2018.com or similar for train ....

I just got the email too! Unlike the email in the first round in fall, this time FIFA doesn't mention anything re: Merchant Name, ID or IBN to provide to the bank.

I've only applied for 2 world cup matches though, since I can only be away for a week or 10 days max. Iran vs. Morocco and Poland vs. Senegal.
Fingers crossed for IRAN match.

got email too, probably you are lucky and you can get your tickets from February 20, they will send email again if you got tickets in the next days, or check your request in Fifa.com in the coming days..

Does the email means that the draw already took place and people will start getting charged? meaning if my account says pending that means i wont get charged, cause i wasnt picked as ticket winner.
