I have a cousin who is wanting to jump on board the trip at the last minute. He doesn't hold a ticket so no FAN ID and he is an Iranian citizen coming from Iran. Anyone know what the easiest way for him to make it is with regards to a Visa? I hear a tourist visa is fairly easy to obtain but he obviously only has a week, is it possible?

Fan ID >> he will get an email with electronical Fan ID i think, have to print it, take with himself, and get his fan ID at airport i think, but normally needs also ticket..

ask IFF. HE have to call there. But last minute fans and iranian "last minute" character is not a good basis for such high wishes before a world cup..

The issue is he doesn't have any tickets so can't get a FanID. Another possible avenue might be to just get him a ticket for any random game to get him the FanID. But yeah, it's not a great set of circumstances. He's gonna go to the tour agency in Tehran tomorrow and see what they can do.

yes, this is because sanctions and so on. we must live with this. but knowing this all, and knowing i advised you with this thread to buy your tickets last year and do everything possible, is because of these problems we face.

another solution is going to russian seferat. probably they can help...but time is running...too late..
