Lets be a little more optimistic. How do you think the Costa Ricans felt when they were in this group in 2014

Not only they qualified for the second round, but also finished first in their group. With CQ in charge and a little luck I do not think its impossible to qualify from the group which I simulated.

The chances of us been drawn in a group of death or a Super Easy group are extremely low. We most likely will end up in medium group like the last WC.

England is trash and Italy has been on a downside since 2006
You can't compare it to Brazil and an on fire croatia

I hope we avoid Nigeria and Serbia in Pot 4. I don't want to face Nigeria again and Serbia is tough Pot 4 opponent. Morocco would be fun.

an Excellent WC Preparations regime could go a long way towards improving our chances of progress..!
I never thought USA could pull outa of the 2014 group stages either but they managed to force Portugal and strong Ghana out and gave Germany perhaps their toughest challenge on their way to otherwise somewhat comfortably winning the whole thing..!!?

that is good , we played 2 of them friendlies, and uruguay is all cavani and suarez, we stop them, we stop the whole team

No way. Their style is really painful for TM. Constant running, hustling, fighting for every ball. They don't give up. And they were actually quite good this WCQ.

Lol this Mexico team is way better than their 2010/2014 teams. They had a very rough 2014 WCQ where they basically had to qualify on the final day and were struggling against weaker teams. They breezed through WCQ this time around

^^ You guys are right, apologies. I was thinking about the 2014 WCQ where they qualified through the playoffs after finishing 4th place in CONCACAF.

Still, I don't think they're that good. Chicharito's form has dipped in West Ham, Guardado and Peralta are a bit older. I rather have them than most teams in Pot 2. But personal preference.
