Some of our journalists are an abomination. The most prominent being the Navad owner who I remember mocking an interviewee pronouncing the word "Persepolis." Although he probably didn't mean to ridicule the foreign player, it showed his lack of sensitivity to nuances of his job. This is unfortunate. The latest example of this lack of profesionality was after the last game when Saman Ghoddoos was not put at ease by the reporter and one could notice that as if Saman was terrified and possibly later embarrassed. With people like Saman who speak Persian as a 2nd language, the approach must be different. But this is too much to expect from people who are not well trained for the job. I am not trying to be harsh but I have wanted to say this for a long time.

BTW talking of Ferdosipour's misdemeanor during his interviews, I am getting so ticked off with his remarks on his interviewees' hairstyles and looks. He literally picks on their hairstyles and mocks them for the entire interview. I once remember he had a guest who used to be bald, and during the interview had full hair (Not sure if he had hair transplant or wearing toupee) but regardless he showed his looks while he was bald and then made fun of his hair... How freaking unprofessional is that to make a mockery of someone's private life on an international TV?

They are all unqualified for the job, which is not all that surprising in a country that lack of education, knowledge and skill is the main criteria for getting a high post. As long as you are one of them.. Who cares if you have the qualification.
The 90 guy is the number one culprit for most of the garbage and gossip that goes on in our football. His lame and unsophisticated language has now dominated most of the younger reporters in Iran. Everybody speaks like him, behaves like him .. His frog like face with those jerky movements, writing notes or playing with his cell phone when someone is talking is so unprofessional. When IR is gone to garbage can of history, I will give him 90 washrooms to clean everyday.

Bcoz anyone with an uncle or brother or neighbor in a post can and will get a job in this regime. Irrespective of their training or education ... which brings me to the term education. Iranians are a lowly-educated people. Dont confuse it with literacy or ability of reading & writing. "Education" goes far beyond that.
Low education and even LOWER SOCIAL MATURITY standards will always result in such behavior in front or off camera.
But why are we surprised?
In a country where the criteria is SOLELY how loyal/committed you are to a backward, barbaric ideology of the "nezaam", then it's no wonder we see ppl with absolutely no training or education in most crucial and important posts.
I mean come on. We have Mullahs presiding over economy, industry, foreign services, judiciary, health, education, .... . (funny how they refuse to accept anyone discussing religion though!!)
since when dd they read anything apart "how to copulate the right way with a goat" or "when during the day is it ok to have incestuous relations"?
