As you might know, IFF´s mismanagement led to the elimination of the U19 team in the preliminary round for U19 Asian championship which means Iran already lost the chance to play in the coming U19WC. And that is truly a pity cause it would have been our current talented U17 that would eventually have been playing in U19WC in a couple of years. But they lost that chance because of IFF´s incompetence!!!
So the question is, should Iran invest in the current U17 team in the next two years and add a couple of the most outstanding current U19 players like Shekari and Noorafkan to that team in order to fight for a spot in the coming olympics in 2020 with practically a U19 team rather than U23??? Or would the risk of elimination be too big?? I think our current U17 team is quiet strong and already well-experienced. So if they could pull it of, then it would be quiet an achievement to be playing in the olympics in 2020 with practically an U19 team and a few U23 players.
