Last time CQ made a stink about a referee performance, we got a bad red card in the 40th minute of the next match against Iraq which cost us the Asian Cup. I respect CQ's passion about these referee mistakes, but highlighting their poor performances won't result in them performing better next time. If we get that referee again, be sure that he will remember CQ making a joke of his shit performance, and a light red card to ruin our world cup.

Football is a business of politics, and insulting those who hold the match in their hands is not the right tactic in my mind. I hope it will not come back to bite us.

So you know Williams and Mazic well enough to know that one can take criticism while the other can't? My post is about learning our lessons. I guess a few here would rather piss off a ref then cry afterwards for bad officiating. We should be working to get in the favor of referees, because I can't handle another tournament where we lose to a 12 man team instead of 11.

Just over 24 hours left.

I will have my pen and paper out. Filling out the groups as it happens. I will be looking at the venues and taking notes of which groups/positions are being filled up for each venue.

So excited and nervous.

you certainly have some valid points, but i still think that was a clever comment in order to put the WC officiating crew on notice ahead of the tourney, so as to not let their usual and very much expected favoritism towards the big name opponents get in the way of them officiating our games more fairly..!!
Lets face the fact, that from the general Worldwide perspective, TM along with probably Saudies are very likely to be the most disliked underdog teams in all of WC18...!
The general worldwide fan expectations and hopes for teams like us is to just be there to make up the numbers and show tournament-diversity, but generally to just get our asses handed to us by every other team in our group and sent home early..!! The general WC Officiating crew's mentality aint gonna be too much different than them...!!
Such hostile prejudices against the underdog teams (especially the generally disliked ones like TM) is very likely to be the expected norm @ WC and CQ here is shrewdly pointing it out before groups and our opponents are decided, to let these fkers know that we wont stand quiet if they would attempt to unjustly fk us over again in favor of a big name opponents (which were very likely to be group with this time around)...!!
more often than not, such tactic of "putting the refs on the defensive" and "under the microscope" proves helpful in them approaching their job more fairly when and if they'r assigned our games vs a big-name opponents and forces them tone down their very mush Expected Biased-Calls or at a very least they can not go on about their prejudicial judgements in an Obvious Manner ...!

off course exceptions to this general rule exists too (such as the case of BennyW @ AC)..! but as Bessos mentioned that turned out to be a mistake on part of CQ who didnt do his homework of first checking out the historic personality of the Benny before criticizing him in media, as we found out after the fact that he was the rare type who often went out of his way to hit back at those who criticize his officiating...!!
oddly Mazic strikes me as the similar type as Benny..!!???? , so i too hope we dont get an unlucky chance of having him getting assigned our games again..!!

for what its worth, that is classic Carlos, he is an excitable and passionate character and has always been outspoken opponent of such forsaken, bs prejudicial practices of FIFA ...!! I also think he sometimes over-do it on the sidelines too..!
if he can contain his passion a tad bit and tone down his sideline excitable temperament and keep it to an healthier dose, it would probably be more beneficial to his and TM's chances of success..!!

This would be the best for us and we even can win this group or be second because I want that we go to the last 16. Russia we play already 1:1 and Panama we won already by 2:1
