Johan Cruyff got me interested in the game in world cup 1978 as a kid. After the revolution I didn't follow soccer until 1986 world cup and Maradona was the reason.

I have vague memories of Asian Games 1990 but I can't remember anything clearly.
Daei-Azizi one of the best partnerships in Iranian Football history. Taremi-Azmoun has been good so far too. Pity in 2006 & 1978 Iran did not have good striking-partnerships, talented strikers but did not combine well.
Actually you know I always have enjoyed African teams as well specially Cameroon 1990, Nigeria 1994, 1998 & 2014, Senegal 2002, Ghana 2006 & 2010. I hope senegal does well this world cup.

Our collection was really good we almost had all the star players Zico, Maradona, Rumminige, Voller, Schumacher, Sanchez, Platini, etc... this was the 1986 WC series, all the quarterfinalists Argentina, Spain, Germany, Belgium, Mexico, Soviet Union, England, France. I think if we had collected team photos and some additional players our collection would have been complete.

Daie, Abedzadeh and Mahdavikia for sure they were the face of TM football in the late 90s/early 2000s when I first started watching. However I didn’t follow them much as a child until the 2006 WC that’s when I really invested as much time and energy as I do in my New York Knicks as I do into TMTeam Meli Iran
