Ghoddos, Ansarifard, Jahanbakhsh and Amiri, Taremi will go as wingers. Azmoun, Rezaei and Ghoochannejhad as forwards. However I believe it will be touch and go between, Rezaei and Ghoochannejhad.

Dejagah will go if he's fit because favouritism and he's our best player.

No way Gucci is left off. CQ lists Gucci as one of his favorites and his experience is too valuable to overlook.
Karim is the wildcard but I think he will make it based off the club he is in and experience.

Wingers are tougher to choose:
JB, Taremi, Ghoddos, Dejagah are safe. Torabi and Amiri are wild cards

true, he was credited with our sole WC goal last time around..!!
the thing ive noticed with Reza @ his clubs, is that he has sneaky habit of Saving his legs for the big show..! im fairly sure, he is mindful of an early burnout, and scared of a possible ill-timed injury Pre WC..!!
@ Charlton it was clear as day that he was saving his legs for WC..!!

i think he knows he needs to step it up internationally soon, in order to clear doubts about his worthiness of WC18 Traveling squad inclusion..!!
i also noticed a whole new level of intensity with his most recent TM feature too, its obvious that he knows he's got some catching up to do to secure his spot on the WC roster..!

regardless of all that, if we get a really tough WC group, where CQ feels he needs more defensive hustle and physicality reinforcements on his frontline rather than poaching/finishing abilities, then there is a great chance that Karim & Kaveh would easily snatch his WC Spot..!!

personally, i'd choose him over Karim for WC any day...!! regardless of their club forms..!

I agree that forwards, mid-field players are not the issue, Iran has plenty to choose from. Goal keepers is a concern.

I will NOT name anybody. Who knows what may happen before the games start??

Let CQ does his work. Whoever is chosen he must remember that he is representing Iran. Similar to Poralighanji, they must run like Cheetas and show that they have passion for Iran.
