I follow Morocco closely and know a lot of their players. Anyone thinking we are easily going to get the 3 points from them is in for a big shock! Almost all of their players are top players playing in big leagues. It will be a very hard game!

Realistically we don't really have a chance of advancing, but as long as we do not lose against Morocco I'm happy. Otherwise my friends will drive me mad for the rest of my life.

They're very similar to us, in the sense that if they're at the top of their game mentally, they can do very very well!

To people who get upset just because some of us are stating that this is pretty much mission impossible...I personally am being a realist.
If you actually believe that Iran could tie Portugal or Spain and easily beat Morocco 2-0 or 3-0 then that is just wishful thinking.

Again from a reality stand point if we are truly that good to compete and draw with the likes of Spain and Portugal in the world cup and easily manhandle teams like Morocco then by that logic we should make it to the semi finals at least. lol

Fitness is going to be key. We have to be super super fit to run for 90 mins non stop in all three games to have a chance. Even in the last wc we were on half tank by last game.

Realistic chance of making it out of this group is tough. Even in the main draw Linekar, the draw host, picked it as the toughest group.

Put your head up, stay humble and work hard. That's all you can do for anything in life. Even if we lose as long as we do our best, I'm happy.

Being realistic is fine.
Its the ones who want us to lie down and play dead that tick us off. This is football - not the space race... anything can happen.

What I fear is that our TM does not get a good result in the first game and then gives up.
Mental preparation and physical conditioning is so important.
Honestly the Spain game is the one I'm least worried about.

Spain imo, is the most likely of all of our losses..!!
our packed and organized D seems Most Vulnerable vs Fast Passing/tiki taka offenses ...!! i cant think of any other team that does that better than Spain..!!

Our only narrow Salvation is beating Morroco (which is got a borefest, goal-less Draw written all over it ) and hope for a lucky draw from Carlos's home country..!!
