I would play the 5-3-2 formation against Spain, defend tightly and play on the counter (Holland got famous fot it under van Gaal):
    Beiranvand

    Rezaeian Montazeri Hosseini Pouraliganji Mohamadi

    Jahanbakhsh Ezatolahi Hajsafi

    Azmoun Taremi

Maybe even use the same formation against Morocco and Portugal, but play Rezaeian instead of Ghafouri where Rezaeian and Mohamadi will push forward as wingers when we attack, and Jahanbakhsh will have a free role in midfield, functioning as CAM and Winger to assist Azmoun and Taremi. Pouraliganji can at times when going forward be used as a defensive midfielder assisting Ezatolahi and Hajsafi. It will really boast our defense and we can make the best use of our counter attack using the speed of Taremi, Azmoun, Jahanbakhsh, Rezaeian and Mohamadi (Ghoddos and Torabi as speedy subs). What do you guys think?

But I think its good, everybody is under rating our offensive potential. Guys like Azmoun, Ghoddos, ARJ, Jahanbakhsh, Rezaei are of similar technical level to offensive players in morocco. Actually our forward line is stronger than theirs is. But they have a way stronger midfield. Defensively I think we are a similar level. In reality we are very close to morocco, the difference is they have more legionairres at higher quality teams.
        We have CQ.

          Today 15 may 2018 still 4 weeks left 15 June 2018!!
I feel already so stress and specially for me the first game we have to win! My wife is from Morocco Rabat and if we lost this game it is terreble.

I know the Moroccan players they are good players in good club but we have good players to. I know that we can draw Spain like we play Argentina en Portugal we can win our hope is Sardar Azmoun and Alireza!! As I said if we WIN the first game we will go much better in the game against Spain

                Spain 2018> Argentina 2014

And not only because they have really good players in each position but because they are a better TEAM than Argentina.
Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things and no good thing ever dies.

Can’t wait to see 11-0-0 formation and lots of injuries in this game. This is probably going to be the hardest parked bus in all of TM history and the hardest opponent we will ever face. On the bright side, players will play against their idols they see on TV and are fans of on Instagram.

Aging defense and off-form players are a worry for Portugal

                            https://www.yahoo.com/sports/soccer-...4698--sow.html

LISBON (Reuters) - Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo shows no signs of flagging as he approaches his mid-30s but there are plenty of other worries for a team with an aging central defense and a number of players struggling for form.

Dour and pragmatic, Portugal will also have to carry the high expectations that come with being European champions and boasting one of the world's two best players.

Coach Fernando Santos said before their March friendlies against Egypt and the Netherlands that it was proving much more difficult to assemble his squad for the World Cup in Russia than it had been two years ago before Euro 2016.

Many of those who played a key role in that triumphant campaign have lost their way at club level.

Renato Sanches, who commanded the midfield in the knockout stages with a confidence that belied his 18 years, barely played after joining Bayern Munich for the subsequent season and a loan move to Swansea City has not worked out either.

Injuries and a continued lack of form have badly affected his confidence and he is highly unlikely to be selected for the squad to go to the finals.

Adrien Silva missed the first four months of the English Premier League season because his move from Sporting to Leicester City was not registered in time.

Andre Gomes has barely featured at Barcelona and Joao Mario has been loaned to struggling West Ham United after losing his place in the Inter Milan team.

Eder, unlikely scorer of the winning goal in the Euro 2016 final, is playing at Lokomotiv Moscow and, like Sanches, appears to be out of Santos's plans.

The defense, meanwhile, are still heavily dependent on pantomime villain Pepe who is now 35 and playing in Turkey rather than at Real Madrid. The Brazilian-born player suffered a broken toe in March but is already back in action.

Rolando and Jose Fonte, also in their 30s, were all over the place as Portugal lost 3-0 to the Dutch in their last friendly.

Bruno Alves is also well into his 30s, leaving Luis Neto as the only central defender under 30 with international experience.

It would be wrong to write off Portugal, however. Ronaldo is as dangerous as ever -- as he showed by blasting 15 goals in the qualifiers.

With players such as William Carvalho, Joao Moutinho and Bernardo, there is plenty of talent elsewhere in the squad and, under Santos, Portugal have made an art form out of grinding out 1-0 wins

It is also worth bearing in mind their formidable record --under Santos Portugal have lost only one out of 29 competitive internationals.

Honestly - Portugal is an average at best UEFA side wouldn't they had Ronaldo carrying them. I see them declining rapidly when Ronaldo retires! No disrespect to Portuguese people as they are in my opinion one of the kindest and warmest folks of EU.

Portugal is nowhere near the level of
Spain and in my opinion only slightly better than Morocco !

And honestly, much weaker than the finalist Argentina side we played in 2014.

Spain is the only team that I say we have an extremely slim chance, portugal is by no means out of our reach.

Especially since we have CQ who knows each and every Portuguese player and knows all of their weaknesses.
