A Realistic Look at Our Chances- How to Approach Group B

Since all our opponents in our group are from the mediteranian sea, we should play friendlies against any mediteranian teams, including north african, adriatic including italy, greece and turkey.
Also, any south and central american.
Western and northern euro and (non northern) african team friendlies do not make sense for first round preperation and asian friendlies are completely useless at this point.

this article is written very well and describes our group at best:

Good post, very realistic yet not pessimistic or envious of others. Dame khodeto professional member boodanet garm!
Our best bet is Portugal’s somewhat complacency in their final group stage match against TM, and that would happen, should they win both their first 2 matches And with a good goal margin, while Spain having lost or dropping points in their first 2 matches.
Nonetheless the key for us is to focus on beating Morocco in our opener, and then aim for a a draw or possibly even a lucky win against Spain. I have a feeling that we will play much better against Portugal than against Spain, especially if Portugal is assured of advancing to the next round by securing the first spot, prior to playing us, which almost guarantees Ronaldo’s rest day against us!

Im proud of the boys and the amazing CQ. To play against Morocco Spain and Portugal is a great honor no matter the results as long as TM shows great spirit and sportmanship."If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water my friend."~Bruce Lee

the key is believe, if you believe you will win, you will try your best, CQ installed the beliefs for argentina game, yes we lost 1-0 but reality is for the first 2 games we believed, and this team is better than 2014 team. we must treat morroco game as life and death, we must min draw, and not lose, but we must aim for win, we win our chances go much higher

Advance from the group stage or not... and surely would like nothing more than to see all of TM work and progress in recent years finally amount to something... I’m just gonna sit back and take a few days to bask in the good feels of finally having a consistent, professional, well coached and managed TM who’s heading into their first ever consecutive World Cup appearance, under the guidance of quietly world class master tactician, heading into a scenario where we will play two perennial all world powers who’ve shared the majority of the last decades Euro and Worl Cup trophies in the span of a single week.
It’s good to be a Tm fan right about now... and this is coming from someone who lived through the the dark years of the 80s when our football was taking a necessary backseat to that other bullshit the dickhead out west in Baghdad had perpetrated against us.
Like I already said, I’m just gonna take a few days and bask in the warm soft ecstasy

No my friend. Friendlies are one thing, playing a World Cup match is another thing. Just because Morocco beat SK it doesn’t mean we would 100% lose to Morocco. Think. Just as we would not necessarily beat Panama just because we beat them in a friendly. The World Cup is a completely different atmosphere, energy, motivation, and tactics invested into each match.
