I think any team from top 20 ranking is an upgrade compared to likes of Togo,Montenegro or Trinidad and Tobago.

It is a fact that IFF can't afford paying for big teams and our government officials don't seem to give a shit, let alone supporting Team Melli. Another fact is that these teams don't seem keen to come and play us in Iran. In conclusion this is a golden opportunity for TM if this agreement materializes, in which case I would be very thankful to Taj and Qatar FA.

the memorandum with Qatar and working together is very good for us, if we can use all their facilities, camps, and if we agree to held matches in form of tournament in friendly matchdays. Qatar today plays Liechenstein, from NOW on, Qatar ONLY have Friendly matches, beside Asian Cup in next year, but no qualification anymore, so they are preparing a young potential team, whatever nationality they will be, for their World Cup.

Iran should agree to work together every MATCHDAY for friendlies in future. All nations will come and play Qatar, and Iran can benefit also. like in march, we should do this EVERY Matchdays with big teams, the next 4 years, so when 2 matchdays are, Iran should play same opponents as Qatar will do. Invite two good nations, and we have quality friendlies the next 4 , 5 years, and specially before the World Cup wen can cooperate for some tournaments and we have to qualify for Qatar 2022. We can have good Friendlies and World Cup in 2022. I hope IFF see the chances of working together.

Germany will most probably also camp in Moscow. If we can held a friendly in our or their camp, before World Cup, would be good. IFF should try for this. Lokomotiv Stadium belongs to Lokomotiv Moscow, which is our camp. Probably a good friendly.

Btw Germany wants to play an away game in early June weekend, one week later in Germany goodbye friendly. Probably they would come and play Iran, as their second match is also in Sochi, so probably a match in June vs. Iran makes sense. We should try it.

It's not only about the place and time. First you gotta see what Germany would gain by playing against Iran! Why would they wanna play Iran when they are grouped with Mexico, Sweden and their only Asian team is South Korea? If I was German, I'd rather wanted my team to play against Japan than Iran.

this can help us, qatar need its international reputation back and they have money, and iran is in world cup they can bring big countries with thier money,plus iran is helping qatar alot also,so i can see two big friendlies because qatar has money and they are willing to spend it

because Iran was grouped with Korea, they have two matches played vs Korea and both are on Moscow. I do not know about Japan camp, but yes Japan would be a good friendly for Germany, but germans do not even need this friendly for Korea, because their second team will play after qualified with 6 points against Korea.


all in all it could be just an warm-up match, not even a real friendly. also the second team of Germany which will play less could be test and made match ready for the tournament..

This is AWSOME NEWS! Qatar has world class facilities and from Nov to late April the weather is perfect for training. Plus with Qatar now politically aligned with Iran, I can see that they will put the red carpet treatment for Iranian footballers just to spite the UAE and SAUDI arabia. CQ must be happy this time! This is by far the best news for Iran's WC preparation. Kudos to Taj!

Horrible friendly, we used to play stronger friendlies in our build up for 2014 WC (like Montonegro,Guiena) when we technically had an easier group and less stronger. Looking back I much rather do the 6-D simulation than this friendly :/ And also what similarity does Uzbekistan have to Portugal, Morocco, or Spain??? If we were to ever play a big team in our TM Life right about now would be an amazing time!

This was always part of CQ's plan. He wants domestic based TM to have a few friendlies with close Asian nations on non-FIFA matchdays.
