Fox is claiming Mexico is going to play Iceland and Croatia. Both games will be played in USA (San Francisco, CA and Arlington, TX) Not sure why that link says Peru.

Peru does not play matches in the States unless they're playing the USA.
Mexico will take on Croatia and Iceland.

We will go to Qatar and have 2 friendlies there, then we may go to Greece to camp. The third country that we will go to is Austria, which IF finalized we will have another 2 friendlies there. We will also have one friendly in Russia, and one behind closes doors in Tehran. We will release the final list of matches in the next couple of days in a statement"

He actually didn't name any country besides Algeria.
And he only mentioned Algeria to point out that we probably WON'T play them.

Algeria and Austria is acceptable.

Reality is big teams have no desire to play iran and if they do wont play with best players, or at a 100% , and will ask for a ton of $, so what is the point ? Colombia got thrashed by S Korea, do you think that will actually happen in a WC ? No, it wont. We need friendlies with good opposition that will give us a good test. Austria have quality players like Arnautovic, Sabitzer, Schopf, and obviously Alaba. Dealing with those guys is very good preparation for Portugal. And they have a solid defense. They actually tied portugal 0-0 at Euro 2016.

Algeria is obviously great preparation for morocco,the best possible actually. If they bring the likes of Brahimi, Mahrez, Slimani then that will also prepare us for the star power of portugal, tricky wingers.

If we can add Turkey, which IMO is a fantastic friendly, plus the non fifa day uzbekistan, then I would say good preparation for WC. Could have been improved if we added Croatia and Serbia instead of Panama and Togo, but this IFF, you take what you can.

Togo , Russia, Panama, Venezuela, Algeria, Austria, Uzbekistan, Turkey, ( Add one more team).

Mexico and Peru can both play Iceland and Croatia. One will play first Iceland, the other Croatia and vice versa
