          That was quite some header.

Morocco plays nothing like us. They have a lot of technical players just like we do and they're definitely a threat on the counter. A match against Tunisia would serve your lot well to get a feel for North African teams. Persian gulf Arab countries are not to be confused and grouped with them in terms of quality.

Like I said before, I'd definitely be interested in playing Iran and we'd definitely provide you with tough competition - but unfortunately politics always has to interfere with sport.

Good Luck in the Next World Cup

I think Egypt have big chance to advance next round, your key match is against Uruguay

Despite being an Arab, you used the correct term for that body of water.

              I salute you good sir.

Egypt has such a rich history - unlike the Saudis. Disappointed that Egypt is so politically aligned with Saudi Arabia. They will drag you down with them.

                Enough politics .

Thanks for your insight. Please stay around and continue contributing.

It doesn't matter what ethnicity, the name is the name - Persian Gulf. You can call it poop water, don't take away from the fact of what the name is.

I know bro but most Arabs deliberately call it just 'Gulf' or worst yet "Arabian Gulf'

Much appreciated. By the way, I don't consider myself an Arab at all. We Egyptians are not ethnically Arab. Some of the culture has Arab 'traits' since we were ruled by them for a short while and the language - however, we are very different to Arabs. In the same way Moroccans aren't Arabs as well. Berbers have their complete own origin and history. Egyptian civilization also predates Arab civilization.

Egyptians, Iraqis, Syrians, etc. only speak Arabic but they are not truly Arabs! They have a much longer history than the true Arabs who are Saudi Arabians and Yemenis.

No doubt! Egypt has an ancient civilization/identity unlike a lot of the Arab world.

Again, respect for using the correct term. I will stop about this as I do not want to derail the thread.

                            Welcome to PFDC.

We have more than just Salah. He often is on the end of finishing chances so he'll get most of the attention but we've had other players put in man of the match performances. We currently have a selection problem and it's up to the manager to get it right. We didn't take our strongest squad to the ACN and lost in the final despite dominating. If he gets the team selection right - Uruguay can be had.
