As for these teams. If this is really true....then no. It really sucks! Remember, we are gonna play against Spain and Portugal. At the very least we need to play against 2 of: Italy, Holland, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, etc. Only then we can call it an ok, just an "ok" preparation.
A good preparation is when you play against the likes of Belgium, Brazil, Poland, Senegal and Colombia, like the Japanese. Even the Saudis have had a better preparation than us.

Spain and Portugal are great teams. But they’re not Gods of today’s football. Just as Argentina of today will struggle badly vs today’s Iran. Football changes and the Spain of today is miles behind Spain of 2010-2013. Yes, Spain is Spain. They will be tough and we will need to prepare. But as I said, we have to use what we get. Complaining won’t help our situation.

Also one thing is that the teams that drew Asian sides in the world cup will not be much interested to play Iran as you guys are geographically Asians but your'e playing style is different from rest of Asia, playing against you will not give them much idea about the likes of Japan,Oz,Korea and the Saudis.

recent greece squad. Their defensive personnel is world class. There is no doubting that. Sokratis ( Dortmund ), Manolas (Roma) , Retsos - 19 y/o, starter for Leverkusen, Torosidis- (now bologna, played for roma multiple seasons), Papadopoulos ( Ex Schalke, Leipzig, now Hamburg), Stafylydis ( Augsburg) . They are similar in this regard to portugal who also have a good defense. n Samaris ( Benfica ) and Tachtsidis ( ex genoa, now olympiakos), they also have two solid defensive midfielders. Fortounis ( Olympiakos ), and Mitrogolou ( Ex Benfica, now Marseille), are quality attacking players. There problem comes in terms of keeping possession and creating chances, they have subpar wingers, attacking mids besides fortounis. Overall not the best friendly, but not the worst either. They did get to the playoffs for WC after all, in a group with Bosnia who they finished above. It will be a real test for our offensive line to break them down.
Algeria game is key, if they bring all their good players it will be best possible preparation for morocco, and also give our defense some practice with dealing with quality wing, attacking midfielders. Mahrez and Brahimi are certainly on the level of Bernardo Silva, Bruma, Quaresma, from portugal. Peru game is also similar to this as we have to deal with Farfan, Benavente, Carillo, all quality players in europe, and other good forward players like Ruidiaz ( Very good striker in Liga MX,11 goals in 16 games this season ), and Christian Cueva ( Sao Paolo Attacking midfielder). They also have a solid defense.
These are three good friendlies, make no mistake about that. Good by IFF for organizing them, if true. We are still missing a headliner like Croatia, Poland, which I think were totally doable friendlies, but how much would those have really prepared us for Spain, which are really a different animal. To me , the only teams that would have prepared us for Spain are Brazil, Germany, France, and we could never get such matches anyways.
If the turkey match also goes through, I would still like one more match vs Croatia, but I doubt it happens. We also have the non fifa day uzbekistan game which was a good move by IFF.
Now we are looking at our preparation being as follows
Iran 2 - 0 Togo
Iran 1 - 1 Russia
Iran 2 - 0 Panama
Iran 1 - 0 Venezuela
Iran - Peru
Iran - Algeria
Iran - Greece
Iran - Uzbekistan
Iran - Turkey

It seems Iran vs Uzbekistan for 18 May 2018 has been booked in. Both BBC and Sky Sports have that friendly in their list.
As for Iran vs Peru on 18 March 2018 [could be true as well but looks very tight for the Peruvians as they are scheduled to play Croatia in Miami Florida on 22 March 2018.]
Greece are playing Switzerland on 23 March 2018 which has been listed in UEFA, BBC and Sky Sports. So Greece vs Iran on 27/03/2018 is probably going to happen.
Iran vs Algeria on 23/03/2018 is probably true as well.
So based on this, Team Melli friendlies will be.
Iran vs Peru on Sunday 18 March 2018.
Iran vs Algeria on Friday 23 March 2018.
Greece vs Iran on Tuesday 27 March 2018.
Iran vs Uzbekistan on Friday 18 May 2018.
So another 3 friendlies yet to be scheduled and of course the venue for the current arranged friendlies not known.

Sweden and Mexico should really consider playing friendlies with Iran. They will play against South Korea and we have shown several times that we are stronger than them. In us, they will find a strong Asian side to prepare for South Korea.
The same goes to Egypt and Uruguay. They will both play against Saudi Arabia and may need a good preparation. Not that we have the same style as the Saudis but we should play the "Middle East as Middle East, Muslim as Muslim" card, in order to lure them towards us.
