Absolutely. But mismanagement and corruption runs rampant in our country. Our infrastructure (or whatever is left of it) is so old and inadequate that we can't tap all the vast natural resources that are available in our country. Top that off with being excluded from international markets and banking. Our representatives are willing to spend money on a gold ship with Quaran scripture on it to be sent to a shrine in Iraq, but our countrymen/women who were effected by the recent earthquakes are sleeping in tents that are not even made to withstand the weather.

My comments was not political, just reacting the poor culture many seems to show here!
People are people! Geography, climates and luck has during the time made us people so different.
If you live 10 years in another country, you will start to feel that many differences gets more natural than when you first arrived there, so imagine hundreds of years and impact of it.

Start to give some love to other people and you will get more back! None of us has been so hateful when we was children but the brainwashing has made many of our judgements poor.

It has taken Iran 39 years to reach the current level of bankruptcy and poverty because of all the natural wealth and the talented population that has made it going for so long. But the day of the mullahs is counted and it seems that it will not be their theocratic suppression of the people that in the end will cost them their seat but the astronomic level of corruption, favorisme and nepotism that will bring them down.
