If we're being realistic here as team meli fans, we shouldn't have too many complaints here
There are a good number of solid teams which can pressure us and put us out of our comfort zone.
Turkey and Greece are both physical teams with solid footballing infrastructure and respectable national teams, all with great players.
Algeria, as we all know, has great footballers and we all saw how they caused problems for even the champion (Germany)
Tunisia is a WC team, solid players as well.
And the other friendlies are very good for domestic only groups.
and for what its worth, if you include the friendlies we've already had recently, against russia, panama, and venezuela, then we will have played several decent teams with very different styles .

Even tho i am disappointed that we are not playing a team like Italy,Brazil or Holland but

Lets count our blessings , in 2014 we only had 3 friendlies prior to the WC ,

this year we would have 12 , so definitely a much better preparation this time.

I like it. Lots of chances to come together as a cohesive unit and also play non defensive football. Good physical challenge too.

ARE U FUCKING SERIOUS so you're telling me not A single World Cup qualified team in Russia wants to come play us but we are Playing 150th ranked LITHUANIA wtf will that game do for us?? Greece would've been good if we had a team like Poland or Serbia in our group but should I not remind you we have Spain and Portugal!!! Literally every team in the World Cup will have a game against a World Cup qualified team in Russia on the match days of June 8/9th literally 50% of the promises and bullshit things our federation claimed to have figure out were lies like seriously Lithuania?? Might as well go play Khooneh be Khooneh looooool and maybe you'll try telling me that this game will be for morale but I personally think that's bullshit considering if you check every other team in this tournament has a serious opponent on that match day

At least you could say we'll have 4 half decent friendlies against Algeria, Tunisia, Turkey and Greece. Add to that Russia from the last fall and we'll have 5 good friendlies before this WC.

I can imagine Brazil out of all nations is quite difficult to get so close before a WC. All teams want to play against them and they get no benefit for themselves by playing against a relatively weak team like Iran. If you pay handsomely enough, they might want to play against you after the WC or some time that is irrelevant. This close to the WC? I doubt it! The same goes to the other top teams. The only chance we had was to play against Italy or the Netherlands who have missed the WC. but I can imagine their request is way beyond anything IFF can afford after organizing all these 8 friendlies.

Alright I guess you're making good claims and I guess it sort of makes sense since the whole world literally thinks we are shit at football/government etc. considering teams like Tunisia play Spain and Egypt plays Portugal and the list goes on. Idk I just feel like this World Cup will be another failure I'll keep thinking that way so just in case it'd be a different result it'd be euphoric to experience because I really just see us barely beating Morocco and then losing to Spain 3-1 because Spain's patient on the ball and has talent that could easily breach any defense in the world especially ours lol unlike Argentina which literally relies on some Alien to win games for them Spains an actual team and Portugal meeeehhh idk they're not too promising honestly but it's still Ronaldo and "Portugal"
