Iran's friendly (March 2018)

the list of friendlies is not that bad considering IFF. But We just lack some doable and intermediate friendlies like Bosnia, Ukraine instead of useless Lybia, Uzbekistan, lithuania). We are grouped with two (top) european teams but play very few decent european team.

In an ideal world, instead of focusing on the weakest team of the group, we should have prepared us for Spain & Portugal: when you prepare yourself for them, then you also get ready to play against their weakest version (Morocco).

About playing world class team just before WC, Japan & SK did it before WC02 and they did good things. U17 Iran also did it just before U17 world cup. the results in both case were good.

"Injury makes Mitroglou doubtful for Greece's friendlies

Greece striker Costas Mitroglou has suffered a leg muscle injury and will stay out of action for the next three or four weeks, making him doubtful for the national team’s friendly games next month.

Mitroglou was injured while training with his club in France, Olympique Marseille, and is certain to miss his team’s European games against Sporting Braga for the Europa League.

The Greek soccer federation has arranged for friendly games against Switzerland in Thessaloniki on March 23 and against Egypt in Zurich four days later.

On Wednesday the Iranian federation announced it has arranged with its Greek peer for a Greece vs Iran friendly on June 2 in Turkey."

Guys please pay attention and stop complaining.
We have had 4 friendlies already with 8 more to go before the WC , a total of 12.
Do you know how many TM had for the last WC ? 5 total.
So please , let’s be thankful for what we got.
I too wish we could have Saudi Arabia’s preparation schedule playing the best top teams in the world but our IFF does not have a
$200 million budget !!!!!!
The Libiya , Syria and Uzbekistan friendlies are for the domestic player’s participation ONLY , not the legionaries.
The Tunisia, Algeria,Turkey,Greece and Lithuania games will be the main matches where all of our players will be available.

I think CQ should let Ali Karimi and friends coach the games against Uzbekistan and Syria.

Isna is reporting that out of TM’s next 8 friendlies set up for the WC preparation , IFF has only set up 2 of them by themselves

The Syria and Uzbekistan games , the other 6 games were set up thru CQ’s personal contacts and friendships with other coaches as well as those football federations .

Now you all see how valuable CQ really is for Iran !!!!!!!!
