If we dont lose 8-0 I will be very happy. Even scoring against these teams would be an achievement in itself.
Don’t expect more from an Israeli supporter - why don’t you go and also support their new best friends - the Saudi Arabians.

We would have earned the respect from the entire footballing world. So lets be optimistic. The way I see it, we have nothing to lose with this difficult group. No one is expecting us to qualify, not even our own fans. And that takes a huge load of the shoulder of our players. I am sure they would have been under much more pressure if we had ended up in Japans group because then every one would have expected them to succeed.

I dont however support Iranian govt or naming rights on bodies of water or Iranian cinema (gosh I hate Iranian cinema) But you know what...thats my right to free speech. I can say what I want and you can say what you want.
Back to this group and TMs chances. Realistically if we can manage maximum exposure of our players on the world stage then that is a major achievement. The other thing is what CQ said, its an awesome opportunity for our players to go up against these guys. A story for their grand-kids!
But I think its wrong for us to think so far ahead and get confident of winning against African and European championship teams with A Class players. Its only going to create heartbreak.

Ba Aberoo Bebazid
How is the team ever going to have any chance with a losing attitude like that ?? All we needed was a victory against the weakest Germany in history, and we would have advanced from the group stage.
Thank God we have CQ who would never prepare the team like that.

In Persian “Ba Aberoo bebazid” doesnt mean go lose!
It means give your best, that if you lose, people be still proud of your performance!
as opposed to “aberoo rizi nakonin”CHECK OUT OUR FORUM RULES HERE: http://www.persianfootball.com/forums/faq.php

With the right mind set we could have waked off with a sweet and historic victory that night.
