Gonna need goal(s) in this match. Anything short of 3 points is a disaster and basically makes it VERY VERY VERY hard for us to get one of top 2 spots in the group. We need a very offensive minded line up against Morocco.
None of these predictions will likely be right, WC is still far away even if it's "just" in few months. A lot will change based on friendlies and individual performances.
One thing is for sure, I hope we won't play Rezaeian against either of Spain or Portugal, hopefully it will be Ghafouri
Cheshmi is a player who breaks play up in DM (like Kamyabinia or Ando who in is peak was an extreme version of that ), not high passing ability. Karimi is a deep playmaker. Both are strong physically, defensively I would rely more on someone like Cheshmi, offensively Karimi
Ghoddos is Good but his lack of defensive contrribution worrie me. A Taremi in form is worldclass in my opinion and more physical I'm a big fan of him.
I dont know how well Dejagah will be playing after another year of going without a club. It would be mindless to just start him and bench Ghoddos who has been on fire this season and has shown himself more than capable for TM despite minimal time to integrate. Taremi I would love to see start as he is physical and can create weird chances out of nothing. This is a very attack-minded formation as it should be. I would never start this against Portugal or Spain; for one of those games, i'd put in Ashkan, Amiri, Gucci, and Ebrahimi in place of Ghoddos/Taremi/Hajsafi/Azmoun and put on some fresh, quick legs later into the game.
