Next friendly is against Uzbekistan on the 18th of May. PGPL finishes on the 27th of April. I imagine we'll get a domestic only squad sometime between those dates. But we basically know what the squad will be.

I'm not totally against the idea of bringing Ando back in. I like this line up a lot. Queiroz prefers Taremi over Ghoddos. I feel like we'll see Omid Ebrahimi or Ali Karimi in the role though.
Also it's not a 4-2-3-1. We play a 4-3-3. So it would be Dejagah-Teymourian-Hajsafi in the midfield 3.

The upcoming friendlies will tell us more. But from what I've heard from Ando lately in the media saying he wants to play in his 3rd world cup and judging by Karimi and Ebrahimi's performance against Tunisia and Algeria, I think all signs are pointing to Ando's return at least for the first game until we get Ezzi back.

If Ando can get his fitness level up and give us everything he has left in the tank for one game (70 mins at least), his experience, composure, passing, high football IQ, and his relentlessness to always close the gaps on defense will be a huge boost to our line-up (Not to mention his passion and gheyrat which is 2nd to none!), plus he doesn't really have to make forward runs and can stay put when Haj Safi does so, and having a healthy Dejagah in the middle just slighly in front of them will help out with his work load as well.

I personally prefer Cheshmi over both Ebrahimi and Karimi.

Personally I want to have Ebrahimi start this match, esp with his crosses and Esteghlals headers in that match. One of his crosses could land on Azmoun's head and BOOM!

I have a feeling Ansarifard will start the first match. In my opinion unfortunately. I feel like ghoddos will be benched, see half an hour a game off the bench. While I feel like Hosseini deserves to be tested, CQ will probably just stick with Beira throughout friendlies and the WC matches ( I bet Beira will cost us at least one goal). I think Ramin will play this match (as we need to get forward more), and Vouria will play the portugal match. I guess for the morocco match CQ will go...

IMO there is no way Ansarifard starts in that position. My least favorite forward out of Azmoun, Gucci, Rezaei, Taremi, and Ansarifard is Ansarifard.

Ghoddos on the bench is such a shame. If he wanted to be benched he coulda stayed with Sweden. Really frustrates me but hope we are wrong

I only say this bc CQ has been testing him out there in multiple matches. I agree that i dont see him fitting there, but he has the quality to make decisive passes, his link up play is good, he is a good finisher, etc. But personally, I would like to see ( as ive said many times)

Thats our most talented lineup without saeid. Bar none. Kaveh could replace Azmoun in minute 60, Ansarifard for taremi in 70, and masoud for dejagah.
