every country can say such thing i think, chinese , japanese, french, morocco... i will say arts is everywhere, some can be better than others but all depend on tastes ,on time artist spend on making their masterpieces.... etc...
i value higly of course like all the wold Iran carpets and all iran and persia arts but i will not say they are the best or Morocco the best, we share some "islamic arts"maybe but still there is different styles and cultures and i can appreciate something Iranian more than Moroccan thing as i can appreciate more Moroccan or peru..thailand ... products more than iranian...
sometimes also it's about who made that "piece", for good masterpieces, better look for piece with "official quality mark and stamp".. it will prove at least, it was made by a good true artist. many can be scammers, copiers...

this said, well you claim Iran are the masters, well ok, no problem,you are the masters and egypt is mother of planet and trump is genius and so on... hehehe okk just joking dear, take it easy please.

but that good you are proud of your arts and culture, it's how it should be, just don't underestmate others cultures too much, there is many countries with old history and cultures and deserve some respect, India, China, Europ, south america, africa... everywhere... we are different with different tastes,technics, arts... ,thanks god, and it's the beauty and strentgh of our planet.

I went to Morocco last year ...
Loved the food, art, and the old feel of the cities
Everything was great except for two things:
1. Haggle central!!! - you cannot walk peacefully in the bazars; they grab you and beg you to buy things
2. We got conned into buying two rugs - for 3000 USD - haggled like crazy and was actually quarantined in their shop until we buy ... they separated me and my gf and almost forced us to buy it - we wanted rugs but not that expensive. They promised to send our rugs by FEDEX to US. Then we went back to our hotel and looked online and had realized that others had gotten scammed from the same shop ... they had asked us to write "we were happy with the service" on the receipt ... so long story short, we went back to the store and asked for a refund. They gave us a hard time and had us called our CC company to cancel the transaction which they did ... 2 months later, our CC called us saying that they presented evidence that "we were happy with the service" and that the 3000 has been charged to the card ... AND WE HAD NO FUCKING RUGS ... they kept the rugs because they technically "refunded" us and so they kept the rugs for themselves ...

I cant say I had the same experience but I totally understand where you are coming from as I went to Egypt and there they do the same, except I put my eerooni bazari, bache zerang hat on and ended up buying a Pharaoh Statue for $4 ( asking was $20) you can NEVER trust these North African countries because they are very very poor ( Prostitution is rampant in Morocco) and they are open Tourist countries so they are all Tourist traps! you dont see this in Iran at all, not in the same level at least....so NEVER trust an Arab snake oil charmer!

Everyone has different experiences when they travel. If you're smart you won't let them take advantage of you in the bazars. The same thing happens to Iranian bazars. As soon as they find out that the person speaks English and it's obvious they come from USA or Europe, they annoy the hell out of them and try to lure them to buy more. Sometimes they rip them off too. Let's not become negative towards a country just because of a bad visit. The same thing can happen in any country.

hmm i don't know what you know about Morocco, true it's not very rich country,we have poor and poverty like everywhere on planet, we have prostitution like everywhere in planet but sorry, it's not more or less than anywhere, there is difference between truth and what you cna see or hear in media or people bla bla..., i know and moroccan know that there is kind of ba dreputation about Moroccan girls in middle-east and maybe elsewhere but it's not what represent Morocco, there is the bad and the good everywhere, there is prostitute a sthere is engineers, doctors.... and no doubt part of prostitute since you insist on it as part of tourism maybe, sorry but it's not more than you can find anywhere and don't think all is open, there is laws and rules in Morocco and police do the job, there is even princes from saudi arabia and middle-east that are arrested like europeans,americans... and of course girls practicing prostitution.
about poverty,in Morocco,you can eat with -1$ or with 1million dollar but what is sure is you will not die because of hunger...

and 80% of that poor people are in country side but as you can see, things changing for better and better,we are not happy yet about that results no matter how positive they can be, Morocco is developping in all fields but one of our problems is people forget easy, they ask for much better and too fast and they see that only throw what they can get in their pocket right now, they don't consider how their quality of life get better and many "charges" they used have, don't exists any more so they spend that money they could save or for better thinsg in silly things ... and as yo knwo humans are never happy and they will always keepa sking for otehr thinsg once they get what they can want, always find something to complain about, you cna see stories and bla bla in some press but eseciallya s iranian, you should think twice before believe what press can say, first who is that press or emdia who say such things, what country media, what is the goal..... i don't say all is wrong but they know how exagerate things or even creat big "infos" from nothing, sometimes, there is even who use pictures from otehrs contries and talk about other countries.... of course some can be honets but nowadays unfortunatelly ,it's rare you fidn honest press...

anyway, i believe withing 5, 10 years at big max, Morocco will be at similar level of Europ in all fields and i'm not talking like Greece, Protugal or even Italy... MY only worry is about usa, spain..... and few others country, that can succeed in their tries making troubles in Morocco, until now, all tries failed, we had some little troubles here and there influenced by others but "the train still on the rails" and in the big majority, Moroccan believe in their country and their king even if they can have doubts abouts almost all parties, we are lucky because we are kingdom and the king is nice guy who really work for his country, we can agree or not with him but he do his best with political parties we have , and it's them who also participate in slowing down "developpement train of Morocco" ,wasting time in fighting against each otehr for silly things but no doubt that if others( countries) let us in epace, we will succeed faster and faster and they will only "slow us down" but never stop us.

and again Morocco are not arabs,i will not say even we are Amazigh, we are Moroccan with all diversity we have, we have the amazigh, the black, the whites, the arabs, the jewish, the not religious, the muslims, the christians..... our official languages are Arabic and amazigh but we talk also, french, english, spanish and many talk many other languages, i believe in Morocco because of what is ee daily and it's from the first day actual king starts, hmm all started with study of all Morocco in allf ields, study ade by 100 mroccan scientista nd specialist in all fields possible and theys tudied last 50years of Morocco and they made recommendation and advices, and From that date (2003), plans were made to change Morocco, we are actually one of few countries who are veryd evelopped in alternatives energy...ecology... we don't ahve il and ga, but atcually we have biggest solar energy champs... we plan have 52% of energy from sun,wind... in 2020 we will be at 32% .. all programs are in time...,w e built cars and aeronotics industries from nothing.. now for cars we export little less than 6billions and on 2020 ,t will be 10billions.. aerontics is about 3billions, boing just started plan for eco-system with 100cmpagnies that will produce for boing... i cna give you many examples with numbers,dates and all easily verified... so in brief things are changing ,slow for many moroccan, better slowly but surely for some and it's ok for some...

but still you cna find few who prefer see the cup half empty even if it can be almost full and they try compare Morocco with Norway or dunno what otehr country, it's not comparable actually and probably enver can be compared, it's simply not same mentality and in many things it's impossible e be like them or they be like us and no way to claim that they are better or we are better, we simply are different and each one of us have own background and culture...

i'm sorry for that long bla bla but sometimes i get near to lose mind, some people talk without knowing and it's easy to critisize and declare some "titles" or headlines,some big phrases without serious analysis or infos... and shout loudly that and believe everything newspaper say or tv can say..or a person without know and try find out where is the truth in allw hat can be said.. so Morocco is not rich but is growing up at own rythme in period that most countries around the world had and have crisis!, last years the world had crisis but Morocco didn't have or in worse case get touched but without serious effect on our development.

that's true but Hervé Renard warned all players long time ago, if any player go to middle-east he can forget National team, he validate that warning by excluding El arabi/Hamdallah/Metouali.... no matter how good they are in persian gulf , Emirates and qatar are full of Moroccan/North african players, the only one still accepted is Boussofa the 2nd captain after Benatia, H.R justified that saying, he never let him down always do exactely what he want from him and he have experience others players need..

For the player you talk about, Achraf Bencharki, who is local star, he offered african champions league to his team Wydad casablanca weks ago, he will join Hilal i think, after that local players AF cup, they offered 3millions $, his club refused then they comes with 5millions offer, it will be record for local player, plus more for 4 years contract for the player.. he is number 17 in local XI, he is sub in team A but becomes sub with local too after little injury, he scored the 4th goal after come in, in the first game in last 15mins(video1)*, in 2nd match didn't score afte cooin in in last quarter, El Kaabi who was 3rd striker in local team, becomes 1st with Azaro leaving to El Ahly, egypt and injury of Bencharki, now he becomes 1st, already scored 5goals in 2matchs and will probably have his chance in march, Morocco win Mauretania 1st match 4-0, and guinea 3-1 second match, they will play sudan next match.
El Kaabi will probably take place of Bencharki if he go to Hilal, i seriously think he will end accept, he comes from very modest family and this deal can save his family, i doubt his family let him wait better offer or wait until after Russia without being sure he can get better later or even if he can make it and go to Russia or get injuried...or... that's pity but... it's life.

Thats not fair since Queiroz called up many players in the past from the qatari league. I agree that queiroz should have adviced him to go to europe. Especially now we have 4 strikers playing in europe. But playing in the qatari league instead of pgl is not a fair reason to cut him.
