Goalkeepers is a toss up, I can't really decide.

Defenders: Ghafouri, Rezaeian, Hosseini, Pouraliganji, Montazeri, Cheshmi, Mohammadi, (Hajsafi)

Midfielders: Ezzatolahi, Hajsafi, Karimi, Ebrahimi, Ghoddos, Dejagah, Shojaei, Jahanbakhsh, Torabi/Amiri

Strikers: Azmoun, Ansarifard, Rezaei, Taremi.

7 reserves: 1 goalkeeper, Ansari, Aghaei, Abdollahzadeh, Imani, Amiri/Torabi, Ghoochannejhad.

both Hosseinis from esteghlal (GK and CB) should be tested out in Team melli, specially the GK. He is doing amazing in Esteghlal, and if he gets some confidence and experience in Team Melli he can easily outperform the other gking options

Haghighi or Lak as 3rd choice GK. It doesn't matter as Beiranvand will play all of the games.

I've picked 8 defenders so that each position is covered by two players. I would agree that it's highly likely to be only one from Agheai or Ansari and that, given Hajisafi's experience as a LB (even though we all know he isn't competent enough), it may mean Agheai misses out. It's all up in the air given Ezatollahi's suspension (he'll need at least 2 other DMs/CMs in the squad along with Hajisafi. Would he count Cheshmi as a DM as well?!) and Mohammadi's injury hit season. Anything could happen as far as a the last goalkeeper, defender and midfielder position go.

Torabi had a very promising start with TM but staying in Iran and Saipa kind of slowed down his progress which is pretty sad.

To be honest his progression is still pretty good which is a scary thing to imagine how good he'd be if he made a Europe move earlier… He's so freaking good

Who do you think will be in our final roster?
I think our final roster consisting of 23 men will be:

Based on the form SS is showing these days, I want to make a couple of changes in my suggested roster (above).

I want to add keeper Hossein Hosseini instead of Haghighi. I would also add CB Majid Hosseini from SS instead of P. Montazeri. And I am considering if I should take Gucci out of the attacking line and add Shojaeian in the midfield instead.

I actually like the goalie selection but BELIEVE ME there is no way CQ will leave out Beiranvand, the goalie he's been in lOVE with over the last couple of years.
