Also, it seems like you forgot how hungry we were for the WC after failing to qualify in 2010. People only cared about qualifying.

Just the fact that CQ has changed your WC hopes into WC expectations is probably enough for his salary. But you'd have to dig down deep and be honest with yourself about how you felt about our football Pre- CQ
Do you honestly think that Asia is what it used to be? Plus we have 5 Asian teams in this World Cup. It is easier now to qualify to World Cup comparing to say 1998. How did the Asian teams do in last World Cup?

And please tell me how have we done with Carlos in Asian Cup?

On paper Iran should qualify to World Cup with or without Queiroz.

Maybe because they subbed off Benatia, Ziyech, and Harit...

Their keeper looks an absolute liability, particularly with the ball at his feet. Azmoun will no doubt be told to press him heavily at every opportunity.

          We are Iran and Iranians
          90 million strong 💪
85 million inside Iran and 5 million other Iranians outside of Iran.

Don't tell me that qualifying for World Cup is the goal. Competition in Asia is not as strong as it used to be years ago.
              1) it's not your money
              2) it always takes more money to get top level european coaches to the middle east or africa. fact.
              3) he deserves every penny for everything he's accomplished. i only wish we could pay him more.

please spare the forum of your poorly thought out posts.

"dont tell me that qualifying for the world cup is the goal". Who do you think we are, south korea and japan who have qualified for every WC in the last 20-30 years? And what do you mean "asia is not as strong as it used to be years ago" LOL? It's universally known that the standard in Asia has gone up considerably.

Renard is more handsome though, we all can agree on that right?

Here is the highlights for people who haven't seen it.

Pretty much "Bekesh Ziresh " style of play. They kept trying to score by crossing the ball inside the box and either score by header or some how foot. Reminds me of the time when we had ali daei and we used to cross the ball inside the box so he can score by his head.

I guess we have to wait 6 more days and to see what happens.

PS: i want to say something about their defense but I don wanna jynx it

No I didn't and im not gonna waste 90 minute of my time to watch morrocco's friendly against estonia. But this is 10 minute of highlights ! 10 Minute. pretty sure all their chances are in the clip. 90% of morrocco's chances were created from crossing the ball inside the box.
Please show me 10 of their opportunities were they played fluid passing football and created chances.

I don’t think we need to be talking about each other’s people and countries in a derogatory manner, especially based on the fact that both are beautiful countries and cultures. Let’s keep it to football.
