What bothers me is that why are we paying Queiroz such a high salary with current expectations. He literally is the 7th highest paid coach at this Tournament. He is getting paid more than the combined salary of Sweden, Belgium, and Poland head coaches.

Don't tell me that qualifying for World Cup is the goal. Competition in Asia is not as strong as it used to be years ago.

He is the only coach who won the African Nations Cup with two different teams Zambia and Ivory Coast.
He's done well in Africa but the two coaches aren't even comparable on their achievements and experience. To say Renard is better is so lol.

lol milad is way faster, and that winger barely even tried to get the ball. I guess from this clip we can infer iran is doomed. LOL

You are right - to say that is not true. BUT, Renard just has better players and team at his disposal, so that is the difference maker.

Back to the game - Morocco doesn't have a stand out striker, but they create their chances through great teamwork and anyone on their team can score.

Our main advantage is that CQ is a better tactician that Renard, has a lot of WC experience, and a lot of big match experience. All that Renard lacks.

Yeah, but do the coaches of Sweden/Belgium/Poland have to deal with US sanctions, international isolation, banking restrictions, lack of team sponsorship, and loss of choice in what shoes his players wear?

CQ is a prince and deserves every last cent/rial we pay him. Nosheh Jaan CQ!

That wasn't the inference I was referring to. Just they have a pretty good right back playing in the best club in the world (mind you, he obviously doesn't start). He is coming into his own and he's ahead of the curve.

                      Milad is crazy fast.

How convenient that when we start beating Asian teams, Asia is no longer what it used to be.

Also, it seems like you forgot how hungry we were for the WC after failing to qualify in 2010. People only cared about qualifying.

Just the fact that CQ has changed your WC hopes into WC expectations is probably enough for his salary. But you'd have to dig down deep and be honest with yourself about how you felt about our football Pre- CQ

Heres a positive. Before Dirar's injury Hakimi played left back. Jahanbakhsh will have a better time now.

Actually Estonia are playing much better in the 2nd half.
