Four Different Leagues, Four Iranian MVPs?

In 4 different leagues, we potentially have the 4 MVPs/Best Players in their respective leagues in Holland, Belgium, Sweden and Greece.

ARJ - 6 goals, 6 assists. AZ Alkmaar are also in 2nd place, everyone expected them to be in the 5-6 range. ARJ has been their best player. I believe he is in 2nd place overall in the league in assists.

Kaveh Rezaei - 8 goals, 4 assist. He is currently the 2nd best scorer in the league and this is his first year in Belgium/Europe! Sporting are in 2nd place and no one expected them to be better than a mid-table team. Kaveh has been a huge part of their surge.

Karim Ansarifard - 7 goals, 3 assists. He is the leading scorer in the league and he is leading Olympiacos to first place. He missed a big part of the season because his coach hated him, yet he's made the biggest mark on their team.

Saman Ghoddos - Best Attacker in Swedish league, best player on his Europa team - he's clearly the star.

This is indeed a very good news ahead of WC.
The main obstacles for our players are: 1) ''European passport'', 2) The reputation.
Once two or three of our boys move to a top 4 league, i am sure it will open the door for others, like it was the case in late 90 and early 2000.
In case of Jahanbakhsh and Kaveh there is still some hope as they are 25 or under. But in case of Karim, i don't see a move to a top 4 will be realistic, and i think he likes to stay in Greece.

Great post. Its a shame Sardar isn't on this list. What a shamble he has made of this season. The one positive in his situation is that I think he has finally realized his mistake and will be sure to fix it as soon as he can. Never stop trying to push yourself and never trust so called "mentors" that only give a shit about themselves.

I still believe Sardar can be a star if he pushes himself like these other guys.

Remember a couple years back when all our legionnaires were stuck on relegation teams?

AZ and Sporting Charleroi were not highly touted and definitely not championship contenders, Kaveh has been his team's best player and ARJ has been his team's best player.

That's why I am saying, they are probably the most important players in the league because everyone expected PSV and Club Brugge to be winning.

If you add goals and assists for 2017, ARJ is actually leading the Dutch league ! Quite an achievement I would say :-)
