To those who don't know, Football Manager is a simulation system used by some major clubs from around the world for scouting and match simulations. It is said to have the best in- depth analysis of players from all around the world. Anyways I decided to get my hands on the ratings from the new 2018 edition for our team Melli players.
The way the player ratings work is a total point system given to players on each ability. For each category, each player is rated on 20 and then their is a total amount of points each player receives.
For example GK Manuel Neuer is given total rating of 190. Usually you need to have at least 100 points to be considered a quality player.
Besides the total rating, each player has a potential rating. What this means is that this is the maximum rating a player can achieve if that player is in form.
For example GK Manuel Neuer has a total potential rating of 193. Which means that Neuer doesn't have much room for improvement as a player. Now some of the lower known players will have a more of a range pontential given to them instead.
For example it will say (110-140)
