i saw the last 10-15 minutes of the game,
this certainly didnt look the sorta game he was ever going to perform all too well in anyways.... shitt weather, horrible pitch, highly physical and fast opponent, in an overall high-tempo, fiercely fought game..!
he lost his cool towards the end of the match too and was lucky not to get himself a double-booking sent off either..!!

i assume AEK were lacking options on the AM front? and needing a goal was probably the biggest reason he wasnt subbed off earlier.?


TBH, he was never really going to be in consideration for a possible Starting Role for TM in Russia anyways..!! but i think today's poor performance is also going to dampen slim chances for a possible AMFback-up role too, that is off course, as far as CQ and WC traveling selection is concerned ..!

But all jokes aside, Masoud played great and you could tell he was a level above the rest no the pitch. IMO
I think he could have been more successful in Spain if he didnt get injured and left.
