All I want to say, and not trying to act Vicky because after years we have successful European based players. But my message goes out to Group B:

Be very careful with Iran. This is the hungriest and most determined Iran to ever put foot in the World Cup. 4 World Cups and not once have Iran made it out of the group. These group matches are going to be the most entertaining to watch. Whether or not we will make it out of the group or not, we will give all 3 opponents hell in Russia.

Remember, this is the hungriest Iranian national football team with only one objective in mind, to get to the round of 16. A squad full of talented players being guided by a head coach who has coached Iran for 7 years. This coach also coached Portugal and he pushes his players to fight for each position as nobody is safe to make the final cut. And the result, a successful Karim Ansarifard

And on the 8.Day God created Ali Karimi, and he saw he was good!

League performances aside, Karim never shows up for TM while Sardar does

There is a big difference in playing for a top greek club that always dominates the games and playing for a terrible 0-0 kind of team in the russian league.

Sardar Azmoun is a better footballer in a poorer club. He would probably dominate the greek league but it is what it is. He is where he is because of his own decisions.

                    I wouldn’t doubt it.

With his stats this season, which have been phenomenal, I’m sure he can attract the attention of bigger teams.

Ansarifard said he has Bundesliga offers and will take them seriously!!

Don't be surprised to see him at a mid-table Bundesliga team next year

                            I’m pretty sure it’s not.

He's 28 years old and already in his ideal age. I rather continue seeing him play for one of the top clubs in the Greek league with the chance of playing regularly in the CL. At this age, there is nothing he would gain by going to a mid-table Bundesliga team.

Yep, fairplay to Karim, I didn't rate him at all when he first broke through and I still have major doubts about his finishing ability but regardless, for him to finish the season like this and possibly even go to heights greater than Olympiakos is the bitchslap to the face I deserve for putting him down so often in the past. Has firmly established himself as our backup striker and may yet force a change of shape for CQ to accomodate him in the starting XI in the lead up to the WC. Vaghan mosalmoon nisti, Karim.
