All I am saying is AD in Championship at this stage is not something we should be celebrating but rather expecting. Iranian players can and should be shooting for more.

I agree with that but you also cannot deny the drought of interest from European clubs for our players (despite some of them being quality, see U17 e.g). The lack of real interest for Shekari after U20 WC, Shariati and Sayyad is just scandalous & shameful.

The few real interest are very often snubbed by our brainless players (Taremi, Instagram warrior, etc.) or players that don't want to take any risk.

To be happy with move why not, but it may not last too much. indeed, the real question now : how long before AD have a 2 months injury?

Can anyone help me get good high-quality clips of Ashkan's english premierleague goals? I got a great one vs. Everton:

It may be that this plays a much bigger role in foreign clubs' decision. Do they really want to risk the attitude of a Taremi/Azmoun/Makani for the relatively rare jahanbakhsh, nekounam, madavikia? That's just up to them, and it seems considering the track record of Iranians in European leagues that we're getting a pretty fair shake. No way a top club needs to deal with taking on that risk when the middle tier can try it out and sort things for them

I dont' think random french, italian, german, etc.. clubs know much about Taremi or Azmoun drama. Greek clubs are maybe aware about lack of brain of Taremi but it didn't prevent them to buy Hajsafi or Shojaei.

All these european clubs are also supposed to have scouts in U20, U17 WC tournaments.
For example, why HSV don't look to the iranian market after having the legends Mahdavikia as a player of in the youth staff? Why Panionious don't take an other iranians after the departure of Hajisafi? The same with NEC, with AZ. etc.

It seems like Ashkan may have his debut tomorrow against Fulham. I've also heard that he will be wearing the number 21 at Forest.

                  Team news:
Forest boss Aitor Karanka has Liam Bridcutt available once again following the completion of his suspension and a host of new signings at his disposal.

Costel Pantilimon, Jack Colback, Ashkan Dejagah and Adlene Guedioura could all start the game at Craven Cottage with Lee Tomlin, Joe Lolley and Tobias Figueiredo also available.

They've made some decent signings in January, hopefully they can push on and head up the table.

Ashkan's signing and role could potentially turn this team around to be a real contender for promotion this season. Imagine the psychological boost to the team to have a former Fulham player start against Fulham, display real leadership and football IQ on the field (which Ashkan is known for), and get a win to start the season right after the new transfers. Forest may have found a hidden jewel in Askhan.

I will be pleasantly surprised if Dejagah starts tomorrow, but I'm not expecting it, because he hasn't even had the opportunity to train with the team yet.. Maybe some second half minutes is more likely?

Anyway if he does start or get any minutes you can pay 5 pounds on Nottingham Forest's website to watch the match live. If he starts I'm definitely subscribing!

I am expecting the same thing, perhaps be subbed in at the 70 min mark to get some minutes in and get acclimated to the team

If he even plays 15 mins I’ll be pleased - he needs to get his feet wet first. It’s been a while since he’s played competition this tough the closest thing was playing against SK who aren’t even that good.
