I don't want to rain on this parade but I get so annoyed with these threads...like AD playing 5 months of Championship football assuming he stays healthy or doesn't get benched solves all our football woes.

Fyi Morocco has 2 premier league players...many of our top Asian rivals don't even call up Championship level players. If your players aren't performing regularly and consistently at top flight football level in Spain, Germany, England, Italy...and to a lesser degree France..you probably just won't be a factor come WC time. Dejagah to Nottingham won't mean much in Grand scheme of things...even ARJ in Holland is over hyped by TM fans.

I am watching Okazaki of Japan start for Leicester city live right now and I don't see any of our players having this kind of attacking quality at present.

Right...because Syria and China are formidable foes we overcame. This is the issue...we are stuck and satisfied being #1 in Asia. When you can't smash 1 past Korea, Uzbekistan or whoever else...who cares if you didn't let 1 in as well. These stats are meaningless come WC time.

All I am saying is AD in Championship at this stage is not something we should be celebrating but rather expecting. Iranian players can and should be shooting for more.

Those who are true fans of TM can sleep well tonight. When we worried about the fitness of one of the players because we believe will go to the next round in Russia otherwise we would not be concerned about anything at this point

I don't think its celebration from many members, its more a feeling of relief. Many of us were very worried that our captain and one of our best players would go into the World Cup having not played proper football for over a year.

Lol then he shouldn't go to WC. 5 months at a championship side is no excuse for years of subpar club play to date. If this gives you relief then KSA fans must be dancing in the streets since half their team signed with La Liga teams until the WC. This is flawed thinking.

The real question is what is his overall going to be in FIFA?.

                      I predict somewhere around 73 or 74

Yeah would agree, hopefully as a CAM and not a RM or LM. They also need to give him better defensive stats.

More than likely, this will be the last we have to stress about Dejagah. I can't see him making any major contributions for 2022 WC, but that's too early to tell
