What is that for an argument? The players i mentioned not playing in the Premier League is not an indication that they are not good enough to play there. It seems you either believe the Premier League consists of Supermen with the technical ability of Messi/Maradona/Xavi/Pirlo etc or you have a severe inferiority complex. Either way your statement has no base in reality. ki sung Yueng and Son Meung play in the premier league and they are invisible when the play against us, and for sure are not better than Azmoun, Jahanbakhsh, Ezatolahi and co, not too mention that PL is filled with players with limited football skills, so my advice to you is deal with your personal inferiority complex which probably hit you during your childhood, as it is alien to our Iranian mentality and has zero base in reality mate.

Imo only ARJ has the potential to do well in the PL right now. The physicality in the league is tough but he can cope with it if East Asian players do it there. Azmoun is talented but he is still a kid in every aspect.

First of all Azmoun is naturally a better and more gifted player than Son, secondly it seems you missed the point: if premier league players are so superior to Iranian players then these two South Korean Gods should crush us every time we play them, but the opposite is true, they are lost and invisible when they play us, you could make the argument that we were lucky once, but not after the fifth or sixth game . Azmoun can easily play and compete at premier league level, so can the other players i mentioned, some of you have severe inferiority complexes and view the premier league as something which it isn't, PL is a highly overrated league.

Week-in week-out club football is where a player's true value and ability is shown. Because that's how you measure consistency. Do they perform as well against Zenit as they do vs. Anzi Makhachkala? Same way vs. West Brom or Man City ?

Fact is, Son has been one of the much better attackers in one of the top 3 leagues in the world (The one with FIVE representatives in Champions League knock out round) while he doesn't even start all games, while Sardar has a pesky league goal in the much inferior Russian league. While I have no doubt Sardar would do better in a more positive, attack-minded team in the PL,but that's just ifs and buts. Statistics show Son is a superior player now.

Our defense almost completely shut Messi down as well. Is Messi shit now too? El-Hadji Diouf looked like an absolute world beater for the national team with Senegal, but absolutely stank the place out in almost all his clubs. Same with Lukas Podolski. That's why they are never taken seriously as great players. Despite Son struggling against our compact defense, he still has a 1 goal in 3 scoring ratio for the national team, and a much much superior club status than Sardar.

Az of today, it's a no brainer who's a better player. Time could change it, of course.

Yeah I agree with you. Son > Azmoun

People who think different are just biased because they are Iranian. If you speak to anyone that isn't Iranian they would say Son is far better.

Sure, there are many garbage players playing in EPL.

But it's not as Son is a substitute for Huddersfield Town, He's a key member of one of the league's best 6 teams...one of the best attacks pf the league.

That'll be the second consecutive season he'd get into double digit in goals playing on the wing...in a team that revolves around getting the ball to Harry Kane, so he scores.

Son isn't just "playing" in EPL, He's excelling.
