looks like they picked a bunch youngings from their academy for this supposedly easy fixture, which they'r expected to win at home...!
they got in nearly a dozen?? new players in just the winter transfer window, so i'd assume it'll be a bitching job for the manager to try and keep everybody content with their minutes..!!? also essentially the Club is all about surviving relegation this season and build for a strong promotion run the following season, so they'll be giving some minutes to their promising young academy players (especially in supposedly easy/winnable fixtures) with hopes of suckering one of the big clubs in EPL snatching them in off-season for a hefty fee which they can in turn invest in the quality needed to promote them next season..!!
on Ashkan's void today, barring an injury in the training ground (which is quiet possible..!) one could assume whole host of other reasons why..!!? like he didnt impress the gaffer in his limited display last game.? he is being saved for tough away fixtures? he is simply still Not up to Speed of the league play Yet ..!? (highly probable) he simply isnt in Club's future plans, hence will be sacrificed for a youngster at any possible chance..!! and etc etc.
hard to know exactly why...?

You even say that some of our players are learning professionalism. Very well. So should we expect them to light the premier league on fire soon? They can easily be scouted, have no visa issues, and are professional.
So we should expect them in the premier league next! Let’s see
its a different matter that they arent seen or used.
2- yes, these Iranian chaps I mentioned (above) certainly have quality on par with players from westham, bremen, sassulo, getafe, lille, ... etc.
absolutely
I'm not even talking about "lower" leagues.
Now, why dont they get invites, is as I have already mentioned. Factors ranging from
- non-exposure to Iranian football (for example chinese football receives a lot of attention, despite its low quality. due to ridiculous spending on stars. plus lots of TV deals within asia. Iran? we barely cover broadcasting all parts of Iran itself!),
- closed environment of Iran in general (for example, scouts can hardly be enticed to visit & spend time here),
- almost zero marketability & potential for clubs in Iran (compared to big markets like china, korea, japan, where merchandising & sales alone would cover the cost of hiring those players)
- political factors (Iran hardly has a positive reputation)
- .... all play major decisive role in this, besides our players' lack of professionalism (look at Taromi and his braindead behavior. Does he have the quality? perhaps. But does he have the right mentality? absolutely not ... the moronic basiji that he is).
But none of that is a reflection on their quality or capabilities.

the good thing i suppose is that there are still 15 more fixtures remaining in the championship season and pretty soon many of them are gonna come fast and furious with the MidWeek games added to Sat. fixurures..!!
hopefully they loose today, that will pretty much drag Forest into the relegation scrap early on and put massive pressure on the coach who has had a pretty rough start to his short Forest career..!! that'll definitely prevent him from further experimentation with the his young kids in his squad and force him to more opt for experience to avoid getting dragged into bottom of the table.
