Poor lad, he knew the risk

His knee injury might have to do with the fact that he has been away from compatible level of football for soooo long, being clubless a couple of years, that when he starts playing and competing on high level, he is not up to it physically and gets damaged!!

If he can't even compete physically on championship level, then how in heaven's name does he want to compete in the world cup against Morocco, Portugal and Spain?? I'd rather he stay home and watch the world cup in front of the telly like the rest of us, same goes for Gucci.

This guy is a cash machine : $$$$ in Qatar, chiling before fooling Wolfsburg, $$$ in wolfsburg while playing only few minutes, chilling before fooling Nottingham, $$$$ in Nottingham while playing few minutes.
              Yup
Seemingly as a perpetual sick-note & bench player, he’s literally been nickin a very wealthy living from his past 3 clubs ..!
No fking way he could attain any other club employment with that background except perhaps in Iran or Arab lands ...& that is assuming he recovers in time to make our WC traveling squad & have himself a decent showing in Russia ..!
He has given Nothing less than 100% for TM nearly every time he has put on the shirt, so for that I still love the guy & wish him all the best for a speedy recovery & hopefully a full resurgence of his Club & especially his International career ...!
A fit & healthy Ashkan is still very much a desperate need for TM’s decent showing &or possible progress outa groups @ WC .!

tough luck on the injury. i don't feel too bad for him, its all his own doing. he had good intentions trying to get back into shape. i want to say his efforts are "a day late and a dollar short" but we all know he's not short on dollars...

I will say Dejagah's injury can be a positive for the youngsters to showcase their talent..

CQ should invite Shekari for the next friendlies and give him a chance.

What a terrible time to get injured. I hope he can recover and be ready to come in as a substitute once world cup is here.

kid got mad potential and i really like his game, but doubtful he'll get a call up before breaking into Kazan's First team and performing well..!!
he is one for future, hopefully not too long into it..!! be great if he can get into the mix for the AC19

It's been a little less than 2 weeks since his injury, which they said it would take 6 to 8 weeks to heal. That potentially means Ashkan is back by the end of March at best. Does that give him much of a chance of playing league matches? He could be fit by the World Cup?

He'll be back for Mid April. Takes time to recover fully and go through rehab at his age. Definitely will be fine for the world cup.

Wishing him a fast and successful recovery. He will miss camps leading up to the World Cup. I doubt he will make the final roster, but it isn’t a definite no either. For now, he needs to focus on the healing process and the physical therapy that will follow after.

if he is 70%-80%, we can take him, coming off the bench and playing ghoddos first
