He might as well stay in Iran until the WC preparations begin.
The Championship season is almost over and they will more than likely not need Ashkan since they are not in danger of relegation nor in the race for promotion

That's too bad... this in my opinion was his last chance to show he can play in a decent team. After the wc he's finished I think!

That depends on how he performs in the WC. If he does great, I am sure he will get an offer again somewhere

He was probably our best player last time around and he left from the EPL to Al arabi... lol! Which was the end of his career basically! Also even if he does great Iran will probably only play 3 games so unfortunately he can't show himself that much!

No club is going to invest in Dejagah again. They have seen that he is so injury prone. Best thing for him is have a strong World Cup and go has hard as possible then retire

Well Nottingham said they want to use him next season. Karanka is a good manager and has improved the team. If ashkan is fit for the WC, he will ball out bc he’s a great player, and likely walk into starting xi

I mean, Nottingham Forest has said that they like what they've seen from him so far and are willing to give him another chance next season, so he'll probably stay at this club unless he retires.

I think he will stay there another year if fit, and then spend a couple years in Iran with PP or SS. Would be a huge asset to either in ACL, plus in SS he would work with shaeffer

He's not going to play in Iran. He has a family with young kids. He grew up in Germany. One of the reasons he first rejected to play for TM on many occasions was because of that (until King Q convinced him)! He'll retire before he plays for an Iranian club!

That would be awesome if he got to play in IPL but thats highly unlikely due to his family. If he ever comes back to the Middle East, it will likely be Qatar.
England and Germany are more likely where he finishes his career

You have to give Ashkan credit for how hard he is training to get back into Team Melli for the World Cup. Because it’s not common for someone to still get called up to the national team before the World Cup after they get hurt like this and after a surgery.

It just goes to show that although Nottingham Forest is not the strongest of all English clubs, they still support Ashkan and are very happy to have him on their team.

It also goes to show that Carlos is fully supporting him and that he wants his injured player to keep positive and be strong after an injury like that. He’s showing him that he will support him and make sure that he gets a chance to still try and make the final squad for the World Cup.

Dejagah posted on instagram a screenshot of his ticket to Dubai. Is he going to watch the Persepolis match? Or is he going for his next big contract after the World Cup?
