Nottingham Forest released their player retention list for next season. Dejagah will be released by the club. Possibility of him re-signing after WC:

"First-team players released:
Chris Cohen, Ashkan Dejagah, Jack Hobbs, David Vaughan

Reds boss Aitor Karanka recently said that he would not shut the door completely on Dejagah returning to Forest in pre-season, in an effort to earn a contract, after the attacking midfielder has headed to the World Cup with Iran. But he has been officially released for now."
