Kuwait looked like Brazil at times and Iran looked like 11 headless chickens. After the first 20 minutes I was unsure if I was even watching the right match. I thought it was the game where we lost 1-0. Because of how well Kuwait was playing. The first half was all/mostly Kuwait. They dominated with possession and nice plays. We played better overall in the second half but still much unorganized. We picked it up and started bullying Kuwait back in the second half. Even though Kuwait played better, both teams couldn’t build a complete play without getting intercepted or messing up. I was surprised at how neither team could hold the ball after 4-5 passes. It was unattractive football. Having the goalkeepers pick up the ball after being passed to, didn't really help the attractiveness either. Kuwait didn’t play as dirty as Persian Gulf teams did/do in the 90’s-now. Both teams played fair but aggressive, as it was a qualification match. But you could tell the Kuwaiti players respected their Iranian counterparts and vice/versa.

It's cool to go back in time and analyze older games. Football was very different 30+ years ago. Iran really is a team of dark times. They can cope and deliver in difficult situations. So this project couldn’t have come at a better time given where we are today (despite having amazing players and other obvious differences). I'm glad we won Even though the result was already determined for me

    Hope you enjoy!

Awesome highlights. Thanks for making it.
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

Indeed great work on the highlights. Very few of these are available for older games.

            Great work as always.

Abedzadeh's save at 0:51 mark...the dude was a ninja in the goal.
