The drought of no silverware has lasted way too long.
We are the top ranked team, lots of young prospects that will gain experience in the world cup.

I want to be drawn with Saudi Arabia. It’s hard to believe it’s been 9 years since we played them in a serious match. The last time we played them was in the meaningless 2012 WAFF championship. Where we fielded our C team vs their B team.

Hopefully we can turn the table a get a few rounds of good luck. With the youngsters coming up we should be a contender for next 3 asian cups.

Unfortunately I think it got harder for us.
The tournament is 24 teams now. Qualifying to the k nockout stage wont be a problem for us.
But now we need to have 4 straight knockout games without messups(red cards penalties, ref decisions etc). Plenty can go wrong

Yeah depends who refs our game. I stopped watching soccer as much just cause of those officiatings. I kinda just play now everyday and don't watch professional. It'a all BS and engineered.

I think its crazy for a team like South Korea who have consistently made the WC, haven't won the Asian Cup since 1960!
