CQ clearly said that his dream is to take another team to the WC for the 5th time , a record of all the coaches in the world.
If Iran goes to the finals of the AC , wins it or looses like in penalty shootout or a very close game he will for sure want to come back to coach Iran again and so will IFF.

Nah. If he knew he had a shot of yet another 4 year extension, he wouldn't be all friendly and optimistic. He'd the usual naggy nancy he's been. Probably has reached terms with Colombia and knows he's leaving thus no point in nagging anymore and just trying to end his tenure on a high note.

I agree. I think he's looking to leave. He sounds too happy. If the offer from Colombia is true, why would anyone stay knowing they could coach one of the best teams in the world versus having to go through daily clashes with IFF.
