Bordeaux would be ok for any other legionnaire but not for saman IMO....he can easily kill it in a top 4 league. On the other hand Bordeaux is a big club and it’s always good to have players playing in big foreign clubs.

Bordeaux would certainly be a good move for him and a huge step up from Sweden, however I am interested to see what team in Germany wants him.

Lol someone already updated Bordeaux wikipedia... it shows Saman in their "current squad". Wouldn't be a bad move, but I had hopes he'd make it to EPL or La Liga, or Bundesliga which would all be better IMO unless he joins top 2 teams in France, Monaco or PSG...

Here's the deal; 2 English clubs + 3 French clubs (Bordeaux, Rennes & Amiens) have real interested. One of the French teams has made an official offer and it's not Bordeaux according to Östersunds controversial chairman Daniel Kindberg. Rumors says Amiens.

No reason for him to go to amiens. Its sad that ken sema, by ALL ACCOUNTS, an inferior player to Saman, is picked up by a solid EPL team in Watford, yet Saman is scrounging between offers from mid table french teams. This is the same saman that arsene wenger called a marvellous player, same saman that he said was technically and tactically the best player on the pitch, same saman that led ostersund to such respectable performances in europa league, same saman that won attacker of the year in Sweden. He really should have taken that Celta Vigo offer when he had the chance.

Rennes finished above bordeaux last year, they got direct qualification for the group stages of europa league. I honestly think both clubs would be good moves

Exactly! He's better than Sema and more consistent. Honestly he'd be a great player in the EPL or any top 4 league!

And in other news...Celta Vigo signed Sofiane Boufal on loan from Southampton. He's a similar player (at least position wise) to Saman, but seems to have had attitude problems in England and consistency issues. I think Saman Is overall a better player, has a knack for goals and assists, has great strength, stamina and speed, and seems to be a real professional in terms of his behavior and attitude...

If Malcolm stays at Bordeaux, it would make for a good attacking lineup. Rennes also has Sarr who is a very good winger.
