"Apart from the opening campaign in 1992/93, every season of the Premier League has had a title sponsor. From the 1993/94 season, England’s top flight was known as the FA Carling Premiership, before the sponsorship changed in 2001 to Barclaycard until 2004.

The title of the competition then changed to the FA Barclays Premiership, with this being amended to Barclays Premier League ahead of the 2007/08 campaign."

Many English pundits, footballers, managers, and commentators still refer to it as the Premiership

You can take Leicester off the list as possible transfer. They signed Ghezzal instead khak too saresoon! Sign Ghezzal who couldn’t do anything against Ligue 1 side teams instead of the of the ambitious Ghoddos who destroyed Arsenal single-handily.

The overhyped Alexander Isak was quickly signed by Dortmund. It seems to be a big success lol

Cannot wait the day our players will be peeing on these damn europeans.

Only 3 Ligue 1 side teams are interested in Ghoddos: Amiens SC, Stade Rennais F.C., and FC Girondins de Bordeaux.

Amiens is close to sign Ghoddos according to Lequipe and local media Courrier Picard.

Would be super disappointing but Ligue 1 is generally very useful to attract interest from better team from France, England, Spain, etc. Don't know if it will apply for an iranian though, specially knowing Amiens is a small club

Man it is amazing that there is little to zero interest for such good players as Ghoddos and Ezatolahi, they cost very little and have great potential. Only reason i can think off for this is political.

What would be the problem for an european club to hire an iranian?

                            - do some extra administrative stuff? They usually have a staff for such things. A little more a little less doesn't change. Clubs that do US preseason tour will need VISA for their iranian players. It's not undoable.

                            - we had lot of players in Bundesliga, la liga etc.. with comparable situation than now. Why no bundesliga move their little finger for an iranian players after having so much succesful iranians in their teams, seeing their U17 smashed by Iran, seeing Iran doing good and better than their NT during WC18.
it seems there is a few north koreans in italy and Germany too.

                            - Do Trump and Netanyahu are involved in european club management? JB is even playing with two israelis.

What is messed up is that Ken Sema gets a transfer to Watford which is not a great team but is a solid EPL team, and I think fair for a good player like Sema who is also 24.

However, undoubtedly Ghoddos was the leader of Ostersunds team, same age, had way better stats, but has no concrete EPL interest? Very strange, I guess unlucky in some ways? Maybe Sema had less time in his contract left or he was cheaper than Saman?

Anyways it's disappointing for us if he doesn't transfer to a midtable/strong team in Italy, Spain, Bundesliga, or EPL for me considering his standout season last year. If he goes to France I would be okay with a top 5 team there...

I believe the general lack of interest comes from the contract extension he signed with Östersunds in January. Plus having a criminal as a president doesn’t make it easier to leave
