Dont understand how some are not happy with Bordeaux? Bordeaux could be a great move for him, upper table top5 league team that has a very good chance to play Europa League this season (in the qualifiers right now), and on top of that has also the chance to go far in that tournament. Also they sold Malcom to Barca just a few days ago so they got plenty of cash to invest this year. If you shine in a team like Bordeaux, your next move is gonna be a big one. On top of that, Bordeaux is a gorgeous city We cant really expect a 24/25 year old Ghoddos who is just playing his 3rd season in the highest swedish division to join Barca like Malcom did.

He had good offer from Celta Vigo (I think around 5millin Euros) in the past, but the controversial owner of OFK (Kindberg) blocked it to get more money.
Then he became a free agent and could have easily taken his destiny in his hands, but surprisingly signed this contract extension which may halt his career progression.
Still quite optimist that his recent stellar performances would attract decent offers.

I’m guessing there was some sort of agreement between him and the club that if he signed a new contract that they wouldn’t stand in the way of him leaving, from his last couple of interviews the understanding was he waiting for the right team to make an offer. It looked like they accepted the Chinese team bid but he turned it down.

When he was a Swedish NT player, he had way more interest from sides like Ajax and other decent clubs.
Now it's mostly shitty relegation sides who make an offer for Saman and other than that complete silence.
Funny how nationality can bring you to higher places when it's European, exotic or anything but non-Iranian.
