Deciding week for all Iranian clubs. A win or loss can decide whether they will make R16 or not.

Tractor is essentially in must-win situation or they are eliminated.
Zobahan should clinch a spot in R16 with a win, but a draw would be fine too.
Perspolis is in a must win situation in order to win group.
Esteghlal can afford a draw, but I am sure they will be motivated for a win after the last game

So they can cheat with those two teams. I was surprised too. Their club Al Hilal made the final of the Champions League last year. It is odd that they only have 2 clubs in the tournament this time. My theory is they made a dirty deal under the table so the referees have their back (Al Hilal and Al Ahli). This is just my theory but honestly it’s not impossible lol.

I guess you forgot about the time Perspolis got an incorrect call in their favour against Al Hilal like 2 years ago. Fact of the matter is Asian refs are just mostly shit than corrupt

Quite impressive if you consider the influence of Malaysian, Bangladeshi and nemidonaam chi chi refs that riid all over our games every time.

Once Mohsen Karimi returned back from his injury, he tore his ACL.

It's kind of copied from Al-Hilal

But still a step forward. We need to do more creative tifos, so Saudis can copy from us.

                              I think it represents:

“Al Ain, you bring politics into football by siding with Saudi Arabia. You bring politics into football when your Saudi player Al Shamrani and Omar Abdulrahman taunt Iranians. You bring politics into football when the referee calls two BS penalties for your team. We know what you’re up to and we have our eyes on you! Welcome to Azadi.”

It’s pretty clever if you ask me lol. The eyes are probably the biggest reminder to their players, coaches, and Al Hilal that Esteghlal do not fear your 12 men teams.
