From the second half I watched PP played pretty well. Game was stretched but PP were solid at the back and were making good quick combos on offense . They were unlucky not to win by two or three. Berianvand looked solid again as well, and had a couple fantastic throws

The best players tonight were Beiranvand, Ansari and Moharrami

Taremi is starting for Al-Gharafa vs Al-Ahli.

Game is in Jeddah. How did he make it to Saudi Arabia? I thought Iranians are banned from traveling there?

PP is in a good position to advance. Since they beat Nasaf by 3-0 in the 1st round, they only need a draw next week to secure the 2nd spot.

They have to go for the 1st spot though to avoid Al Ahli in the next round as they seem to be strongest side in group A and most probably will secure the 1st spot in that group.

PP vs. Al Sadd in Azadi will be an exciting match.

Now Taremi attempted to score on a scissor kick and missed narrowly.

This is why I want him in TM he actually does entertaining stuff like that even if it doesn't work

                          But typical Taremi of course.

Imagine him doing that against Portugal, Spain or Morrocco. Each time I keep mentioninig how Taremi's probability of missing a sitter is extremely high, and we should be using Gucci I get backlash form Taremi fans.

You get backlash for a good reason, Taremi may miss sitters but he is more dangerous than Gucci by a lot and worth much more to the team. Anyways, Taremi plays as a wing with TM, not a striker, a more proper statement would be to say we should use someone like Torabi instead of Taremi. If we put Gucci on the wing it will be a sh*t show.

That's the thing about Taremi. He causes opponents to make horrible mistakes, hangs on physically but misses the easy finish.
