To be fair though, it’s not like CQ is living pay check to pay check and just barely hanging on.

He knows he will eventually get his estimated 2mill USD a year + benefits, and that’s a whole lot more than he will get anywhere in Europe.

Thumb ups and thump downs to be displayed in all posts. Right now we only see the positives. And negative reps is a totally different thing and is seen only by the beholder of the posts

Man, I love a good PFDC game day thread on a friendly.

4-5 players always need to be dropped or benched, and another 3-4 flavours of the year in PGL need to be starting ASAP.

I just watched the game twice. Ramin>>Ghafouri. Ghafouri should not play against Morroco maybe Spain.

Good call Saeed jaan. They're both very good players IHMO with different capabilities - both very useful against different opponents and the match specific tactics that we need in the WC and I'm sure that's why CQ started Ramin today.

Ramin is definitely a faster, more explosive and offensive player, something that's going to be very useful against Morocco since we absolutely need to win that match.

Vouria is more of a solid, physically strong and defensive player although still capable of testing the other team on our right wing. IMHO he's definitely the pick against Spain where I'm sure our match tactic is going to be frustrating the other team's offense (like against Argentina in 2014).

*Sierra Leone is very poor.. we need better teams like Germany, France or The Netherlands team or Engeland. My wife from Morocco saying *Sierra Leone is poor and war. Carlos Queiroz is saying that he is satisfied with the match I would say ofcourse we would win this, no suprise.

Other point is where is all our players that playing in Europe and Russia? The players against Sierra Leone is even not the official World Cup team. It is another waste of time.

What happen because Italy was very interested in playing us in Rome as well Tehran in 2 games.. much better prepaire for our boys! Than a poor team of Sierra Leone

We need to play against strong teams, that we can see our performance and weak places. Sierra Leone is not a good warm up match for Spain and Portugal even for Morocco team.

Just report them for spamming. I’m not sure if people really think it would have been better for these fringe TM players to not play against Sierra Leone, and never get a shot at breaking into the WC squad.

Yeah Sierra Leone isn’t the type of team that can prepare us for the world cup matches but it definitely gave a shot for new TM players to get adapted with other players and the coaching staff. (Just look at Gholizadeh and Khanzadeh who made it to the latest TM squad, even Noorafkan showed that he can compete for a place in Russia.

I'm going on a limb here but, i don't think any of the WC teams will face a team as weak and useless as Siera Leone even in a friendly preparation.

apparently you and some other people still don't get the way CQ has invited new players into TM. one of the reasons is that these new players weren't even invited for the shittiest friendlies before. we used to play the exact same 11 players that used to play for WC AC in those friendlies without even giving a little hope or chance to the young players to develope and face players from other continents to get international experience. its all part of CQ's master plan to get young players international experience. even if it is against these weird countries. if it wasn't for this mentality we wouldn't have 6 forwards and gazilion other options in other positions!!!

people expect us to play against germany and other countries who are top 10 in fifa ranking but it would be useless to get defeated like that and not be able to see the young players who haven't played a game together how they perform and if they are following the tactics etc etc ..

remember Iran vs Argentina how everyone was saying we would get raped by them.. well i would say this to them: go see our preparation before WC14 and how we performed against Argentina.
