Tunisia coach's pre-match interview:
"Nabil Maaloul: '' We are determined to deliver a good performance in front of our audience before the World Cup ''
The coach of the Tunisian Football Team, Nabil Maaloul , stressed the importance of the friendly match Tunisia-Iran Friday night in Radès, given that it will be the last appearance of the Carthage Eagles in front of his public before his participation at the 2018 World Cup , scheduled from June 14 to July 15.
" The national team is determined to deliver a good performance and will play to win, " said the national coach at a press briefing on the eve of the friendly test.
Maaloul praised the Iranian selection, the first to qualify for the Asian continent in the World Cup, "which proves the high technical quality of players" with a great physical condition, including the players in the middle and despite the absence of his star player Ashkan Dejagah , playing with Nottingham Forest Football Club.
"The Iranian selection has benefited from the stability of the technical staff led by the Portuguese coach Carlos Keiros, on the spot since 2011, " he said.
For Nabil Maaloul, the friendly match against the Iranian selection "is very important" especially since it intends to align new players to help them integrate into the group and get an idea about the degree of adaptation to the team game.
"It is true that we will not be able to count on regular players after the injury of Youssef Msakeni , capable of making a difference on his own, but we will try to overcome this setback to preserve the balance of the selection," he said. he added.
The coach said the Carthage Eagles will try to vary the game with four or three defenders . " We have a good squad of players capable of playing on the defense axis, like Syam Ben Youssef, Yacine Meriah, Yohan Ben Alouane and Dylan Brown, " he said.
Nabil Maaloul said that 95% of the players called for the two friendly matches against Iran and Costa Rica, next Tuesday in Nice, will be part of the official list for the final phase of the World Cup."

Guys, please relax and trust CQ. This is a friendly to help prepare us for the big show. And CQ is treating it as such.
This is clearly an experimental squad. He's fielding players that are on the WC roster bubble to help him make his final roster decisions. Ansarifard, Gucci, Shojaei, Amiri, Khanzadeh, are all on the WC roster bubble.
There's no way CQ was going to field the exact same team that will face Morocco and publicly disclose such information and tactics so Morocco can analyze and use against us. Those are saved for the 'closed door' friendlies right before the WC.
Chill, have some chai, and be ready for Vahid Amiri turnovers for 60 minutes

At least an equally slow Masoud has some exprience as a winger.
slow???? karim???
are we talking about the same guy???AKP Parti, Turkiye - Haj Bernie Sandersoglu
